I have used them at my old home through a home warranty and they did a fine job. This time I called because we didn't have heat at our new home and it was supposed to drop to 9οΎ that night. They wanted to charge an extra $50 to come out after 5 PM(mind you I called right at 4:45pm when I discovered no heat) plus extra 10% service charge for any parts needed. This just tells me they don't care about clients especially in a dire time when you have kids and no heat in your home. I used a local guy instead who did a fantastic job and didn't charge any extra!

These guys have been providing service above & beyond for my home for 21 yrs.
This month when my old furnace finally needed to retired, i called and RA literally had me diagnosed, and had a brand new furnace installed in less than 24 hrs! And for $600 less than the lowest bid I'd received elsewhere.

On the coldest day if the winter (of course)
My furnace decided to act up.
I called R A because I have always heard good things about them.
The were obviously busy but had a small hole in the schedule that they could get a guy out to me.
He showed up right on time, was a great guy and knew exactly what he was doing.
He fixed a problem in 15 minutes that had been wrong for the life of the furnace... a problem many others over the years had missed.
Great job!!!

It went so well, I can't say it enough. This company is incredible. They were suggested by a friend and I am very impressed. They made great suggestions so we could properly zone heat our home. They are trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable and hard working. There were many questions we had and they took us through the entire process and made it easy for us. I started off with a different HVAC company when I moved to Madison, WI but quickly found them lacking and switched to R A Heating -- the difference was immediately and abundantly clear; they found and fixed serious mistakes made in the past and fully checked and cleaned my system, all for a reasonable price. When a mold disaster struck later, and there were some last minute scheduling changes, they promptly turned on a dime and handled their part of the process and then some, much to my great relief. Poor communications and bad customer service! We had to call twice before getting a call back to set up an appointment for a furnace repair. The quoted price was very high but they were highly recommended so we approved it. The tech came out and said we needed a part. Since the unit was old, he said he would have to look for a replacement and let me know. We had the next appointment with them setup for a week later. The day of the second appointment we still had not heard if they had a replacement part or not. He shows up at 10 AM for the appointment with no part. Luckily, we were able to fix that

We decided to replace both our air conditioner and furnace as they were our originals, 32 years old, and we are going to be selling the house within a year or so. After asking for a quote from the company who has serviced us all 32 years, we decided to get a second opinion. Ryan from RA came out to give us an estimate. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and was super quick to email the estimate, even going in on Thanksgiving to get it done (after telling him that was totally unnecessary)! I called their company because it was the last one to service the unit and explained the exact situation, not knowing if I needed a plumber to solve the issue or a heating and cooling company. The girl on the phone said they would come out and they would take care of that type of problem. The tech came out and was here long enough to take a look at the issue and said there
