We take a lot of pride in our business, and we are hoping that it shows through with our website as well. We hope that you find the information provided valuable. Although, the Internet is a great source for information, we believe it does not replace the benefits of personal interaction. Since 1950, our family has served as a resource to our local community and we value the relationships formed through individual contact with our neighbors.

We continue our family's tradition of being a caring neighbor and we remain a resource to our community.
Services
We have over 70 years of service to Eden and the surrounding community. David C. Laing founded the funeral home at its present location after returning home from WWII. During his time in the service he became close friends with another young man from NJ whose family owned a number of funeral homes.
Our staff are dedicated to the families they serve here in Eden, New York. You can call on us any time of the day if you have any questions on a service we are providing or if you have questions about funeral service. William Laing is the Owner/President of Laing Funeral Home Inc. He is a lifelong Eden resident.
The passing of a loved one is an inevitable, but no less painful and emotional experience that all of us face at some point in our lives. However, as adults, while we wrestle with the void that dea. If you're thinking about planning for the day when you pass on or are in a situation where you know you will have to start planning for a funeral very soon, you need to look at your options.
Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service, or as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.
