At Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home, we recognize that amid this pandemic, we all have fears and concerns for the safety of our families and loved ones. Unfortunately, death and grief do not pause during a crisis. To that end, our firm cares about your safety, and we are taking every precaution to create a safe environment for you to honor those you have lost.
Hand sanitizer stations will still be available, and increased sanitation and cleaning will continue. Food served in the funeral home must still be provided by facilities certified by the Erie County Health Department, and must be individually wrapped for serving. We are no longer requiring screening and contact tracing to attend services in our facilities.

Losing a loved one you care deeply about is one of the most overwhelming and difficult experiences you'll ever have to deal with in life. Words are somehow inadequate in describing how painful your grief can be. And often the enormity of the decisions you need to make can cause you to become paralyzed in indecision.
The passing of a loved one marks the completion of a life well lived, but there's no reason that your loved one's life story has to end there. As life story guardians, we help you capture and preserve the essence of your loved one's life. This ensures that the legacy of your loved one will continue forever in the hearts and minds of family and friends who gather to celebrate a treasured life!
At Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home, we strive to be the guardians of you and your loved one's life story. You've lost someone close to you and that's extremely difficult. We truly understand what you're going through and our job is to help you navigate the loss more easily by taking care of all the details so that you can focus on you and your family who need your support as well.
A funeral is a time to pay tribute to someone who has touched the lives of so many people. It is a time for relatives and friends to gather and tell stories, to share memories, to acknowledge loss, and to support one another during this difficult time. That's why we have set up our interior space in a comfortable, relaxed fashion to promote dialogue and exchange among family and friends.
Whether a death is sudden or expected, the loss of a loved one is extremely difficult and brings with it all sorts of emotions. And that's where we can help. When the death does occur, you can call us 24/7, day or night, to guide you through all the decisions you have to make. Depending on where the death occurred, we will be able to bring your loved one into our care.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home for their 5 star VIP service in planning my Mother's Celebration of Life on November 20, 2021. Our family appreciates the efforts of Joshua and Candice for their incredible attention to detail and compassion. My Mother Theresa looked beautiful given the fact that she suffered incredible injuries due to a fatal car accident. All of you treated my Mother like royalty and helped me send her to heaven in style. God Bless all of you for your kindness and attention to detail in making this very challenging and sad time easier for me

The caring and compassion shown to us during this time was so appreciated. The planning was made and all the details were carried out perfectly. Charles guided us to make wise decisions and had many special things done to honor my husband. A special touch was the release of the doves at the cemetary.

Lakeside team was absolutely wonderful in helping me with writing and planning everything for my fathers funeral. Was the asking if we needed anything during the whole service we had. And even after it was almost done they are still reaching out to make sure me and my mother are doing good and if there is anything we need to call them.

Lakeside was very friendly and accommodating when I made an appointment to discuss prearrangement for my mother who was at that time a nursing home resident. Mark walked me through the process with clarity and openness. I was not hurried in the least.
I was able to make the choices for my mother with no pressure to spend beyond what I felt capable of spending.
As fate would have it, my mother passed away just a few months later. At that time, it was a big relief not to have to make all those decisions I had already done earlier in the year. Anna served as our funeral director, and she was perfectly

Lakeside Memorial was extremely helpful and caring in my families time if need! The staff still contacts me, even though it’s be almost a month since my wife’s passing, to offer support and well wishes for me and my family! Truly I couldn’t have asked for better service, helpfulness, or kindness shown by the entire staff!
