Services
In our quest to provide high quality veterinary care as well as great service, we have assembled a veterinary health care team committed to providing both. Dr. Bruce Garver grew up on a dairy farm in Maryland, and received his DVM from Iowa State University in 1985. He opened Kindness Animal Clinic in Monroe in 1990 and he has been the owner veterinarian ever since.

Dr. Garver is an Excellent Vet who knows his facts, up to date on current medical data for animals, and shows empathy and care for our furry family members. You can definitely see the passion he has for animals and why he's a vet. He took care of our Rottweiler and 2 spainel lab mixed dogs from 2003 to 2016. Dr. Garver and his staff were compassionate and thoughtful after our dogs passed away. It took us 5yrs to be ready to add a furry family member back into our lives. We got a puppy this past Saturday and the only vet we want to care for him is without a question, Dr. Garver & his staff at Kindness

Dr Garver and his staff have taken care of my three pets since 2009. We have been through a lot because of serious Pet health issues and they have been very attentive, affordable, operate with a caring heart and have kept my furry happy and on this planet way longer than I ever thought possible! Nothing special about this vet. But it does cost you more for the same service and just as good vets. Over $500 for a ear infection. They gave me antibiotics and ear cleaner. They recommended we do a bunch of things including some shots. So I said let's do it all so my dogs is healthy. Brought him back for a follow up appointment and before they have gone back they recommended the same stuff again. They said they didn't do it and they never charge ahead of time. But the follow up was covered in the first cost. They honestly made it seem like I would be a bad pet owner if I didn't do what they recommended

I've worked at a vet hospital before so I kind of know how they work behind the scenes and what kind of training goes on and the people at this place are obviously not trained very well. I made an appointment for my 16 week old puppy and explained to them that he has been traumatized by someone at the last vet and he would be a little scared and they said that it was no big deal. We took half a day off work for this appointment and a little bit after dropping off my puppy I get a call saying that he's too scared and they can't deal with a scared puppy apparently. He's 16 weeks

Updating - My experience at Kindness was originally AMAZING, but then I got a rescue cat from a backyard breeder in our neighborhood who was getting rid of their 'mixed kittens' and I purchased her from them to get her off the streets (we live by Coyotes and I didnt want her to be another outside cat that got eaten ) I explained that to them but they refuse to see her unless I get a full bill of sale for her? My friend bought his dog from a puppy mill on Craiglist and didnt require a 'bill of sale' for his puppy? So I just can't get my kitten in unless I get a title for

I am SO grateful for trying out this Vet clinic after we moved to Monroe. The staff and the Dr. have been SO great. They are always very friendly and show genuine care for your pets. My English Bulldog has a list a mile long of health issues (yes, I was warned). I have spent thousands on trying to treat him for his reoccurring issues. Dr. Garver took a "all hands on deck" approach to his treatment and it has completely transformed his health and happiness. Thank you Dr. Garver and the amazing staff! You all ROCK!

Kindness Animal Clinic is so worth the drive for us!! We live in Stanwood and they squeezed us in same day for a surgery to staple up my sweet Georgia after she got cut on our fence. They’re SO nice and caring… and very informative. Their prices are very fair and their customer service and compassion is exceptional. Definitely will recommend to anyone who needs a vet! Dr. Garver is a very smart, competent vet and responsive to questions/concerns. The clinic is always spotless and the staff are nice and helpful. What I really like about this clinic is that it does feel like a medical clinic. It feels really organized, professional and they always follow up with you after your visit to make sure your pet is doing well.

Prices are reasonable, they always have an estimate ready for everything the animals are due for when we arrive. Service is friendly and compassionate for all of our fur babies. I would recommend their service to everyone in the area. Their service has been the best veterinary service we have received thus far.

Kindess Animal Clinic is a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes for me, but SO worth it. The vet has been accredited with the American Animal Hospital Association for over 25 years, and the vet is the nicest guy. My dog still gets into things he's not supposed to, and if he sees me too many times in a month, he won't charge me for re-checks on his status. Not only that, but the vet techs are so wonderful to my dog that he doesn't even notice if he gets poked with a needle. I've heard people say he's overpriced, but to be completely honest, he isn't. Our Rat Terrier wasn't feeling well this morning so we came here BC I found a coupon for a free exam because payday is still three days away. Not only did they honor my coupon, they diagnosed and treated our family pet. Then it came time for pain meds and I explained I'd have to come back on Friday. Nope....they had a coupon for that too! This will be our vet from now on. Thank you to the staff who treated us with sympathy and compassion. "Kindness Animal Clinic" has exceeded what I expected and the name fits perfect!

Great place. I have been taking my dog here for about 5 months now. They are very knowledgeable and take a really good care of my dog. They call you and check on your pet very often after every visit to make sure your pet is feeling better. You can also send them pics and videos if you have any concern. Would highly recommend this clinic.

I stopped in here on my way over the pass. It was 70 out and I didn't want to leave my puppies in the car on a hot day because I needed to use the restroom. They watched my dogs so I could use the restroom and gave me leashes to borrow on my way over the pass and back, since I left mine I home. Above and beyond customer service for someone just passing through!! I can only imagine the top notch service we will receive returning with out pups if needed in the future!! We adopted a 1 year old cat from Purrfect Pals. With the adoption we received a voucher for a free vet exam. Kindness Animal Clinic was not on the list of clinics that accepted the coupons but when I called them to ask, they said they would honor the voucher anyway. The front desk staff was great... friendly and happy! When I took Scarlett in we were seen right away. They took thier time with her and told me what vaccinations needed updating and the estimated costs. I never felt pressured to do everything immediately and I actually thought everything I was quoted sounded very reasonable.
