Thanks again to the awesome staff and Dr. Thomazin! Kenji had his appointment this morning and when it was time to leave he didn't want to walk out of the lobby. I actually had to lure him to the door with a treat! Always such wonderful, compassionate, loving, and practical care for my pupper. You guys are the best! - Sherene S.

The best vet I've found. I can honestly say they saved my dog's life and if it wasn't for them he wouldn't be here cuddled up with me right now. When all the vets in Seattle wouldn't help me they did no hesitation they helped me out so much when no one else would. Forever Thankful for each and every one of them and as long as I'm living in the state of Washington they'll be my go-to vet.
Services
Salish Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful mountains of Snoqualmie, Washington. We are a brand new, privately owned, small animal hospital providing full-service, comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care in a warm, compassionate setting. Our team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff are committed to providing exceptional veterinary health care and client service.
The veterinarians at Salish Veterinary Hospital offer far more than routine wellness care. We have a great deal of experience managing in-depth, complicated medical conditions, from diabetes, Cushing's disease, renal and heart failure to cancer. It is our strong belief that continuity of care and exceptional doctor/client communication is paramount to excellent long-term care.
At Salish Veterinary Hospital, we believe that regular check-ups are critical to your pet's overall well-being. Wellness exams give us a chance to not only evaluate the overall health of your pet but also help us establish a baseline for their own unique bodies and tendencies. This can help us to identify any potential health problems at an early stage.
Our veterinarians have extensive experience in managing a wide array of surgical conditions that arise in our veterinary patients. We offer anesthetic monitoring for our surgical patients including ECG, end-tidal CO2, heart and respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure and core body temperature.
There have been many studies that have demonstrated periodontal disease (gum disease) in dogs contributes to heart, liver, and kidney disease. This is the primary reason, along with issues of discomfort, that we are concerned about dental disease. Periodontal disease, fractured teeth, and other oral health problems are common in dogs and cats.

Our pets have been long-time patients of Dr Thomazin, and more recently with the entire staff at Salish. We don't live in the area, but are more than happy to make the trip for the amazing care we receive. We highly recommend Salish Vet Hospital!

If you're looking for great customer service, caring docs that take time with your fur baby and integrate holistic care with western medicine, this is your place! We have a young pup in the puppy program to get her off to the right start and an elder pup with a heart murmur, nerve issues and arthritis. They take their time to consider all angles for treatment and don't push unnecessary expensive treatments.

Your team has been so caring and amazing!!! Thank you so much for caring for our lab Maddox! Our family has suffered much loss over the last 2 years of loved ones. Maddox is a special part of our family and seeing him in pain was devastating. But you brought us relief and ease with your support knowledge and genuine care. Thank you so much!!

Salish Vet is always wonderful! They have overly pleasant doctors, assistants and employees overall.
My pups are 15 and 16 years old...
Salish Vet Hospital has ALWAYS been there when I needed anything; whether it be a scheduled visit, an emergency visit, or even just a phone call to give advise or calm my worries.
My pups are not going to be with me forever, and with the way everyone at Salish vet cares about these fur babies and their owners, I couldn't imagine sending them over the rainbow, anywhere else.

I have a new puppy that was having some issues. No other vet could get us in right away but Salish Vet did! The staff was helpful and kind. They gave me updates and explained everything in detail. Very affordable price compared to some other vets. I brought home a happy pup! We will definitely be going to them from now on!

We received a postcard in the mail that one of our dogs was due for a vaccination, so we called and booked an appointment for the vaccine with a nail trim. I showed up today for the appointment to be told that the dog is up-to-date on their vaccinations and the postcard was a mistake. I proceeded to get the nail trim anyways since I already had to re-arrange my schedule for a mid-day appointment and wasted 30 minutes commuting. I was charged $20 for a two minute nail trim. (I guess this was my fault for not asking about the price of the trim, so I won't deduct anything for that, I was just

I’ve taken my dog to Salish Animal Hospital for about 9 months now. Up until now it’s just been for vaccinations, and a first time check up. Today she was there for a vaccination, and the asked me if I wanted to have her nails trimmed. Sounded like a good idea. I heard her yelping and crying in the background. When they brought her out she was scared and wet. They said she was anxious about having her nails trimmed and had to restrain her. I asked if she was biting, and he said no she was just anxious. She had been so scared she messed herself and they had to wash her off. This is not

We were delighted by the quality of care that Willow received. The only small issue was that after the nail trim we were told she received, her nails were still very sharp. This is a tiny matter. Everyone treated us very well. Willow was happy and comfortable.
Thank you!

These people are amazing. My pet sheep was dying and in a lot of pain and I couldn't find a vet for two days who would put him down except one that wanted $350-400. I got desperate and called Salish and asked if I brought him there they if they could put him down. They said they would (and for a third of what the other vet wanted). Dr. Thomazin (sp?) explained everything before and as he was doing it. He was so kind and compassionate as was his assistant and the receptionist . I didn't have to wait but 5 minutes. They were very caring and even sent a condolence card. Definitely recommend

This office cares about the safety of the animal and people. We arrived on time for our appointment. Our new puppy was picked up from her crate in the back of our suv. She was taken in for her exam and vaccinations. The assistant then brought her back out and explained everything in detail to us. He was a wonderful person to talk to and answered any question or concerns our family had. We took our puppy as a family of 5 and all questions were answered from the safety of our vehicle. Wonderful experience overall and we look forward to her next visit. Thank you!!!

My puppy started here 10/20 for his first exam and received one of two in the series of puppy shots. I was sold the puppy pack being told two visits and shots included.
I was clearly instructed to bring him back in 3-4 weeks for shot #2. I make the appointment advising this was puppy shot number two
no problem. I thought!
When that appointment time neared I had covid. Doing the right thing called canceled the appointment. I heard the vet in the background stating the appointment I had canceled was too late anyway the shots now would have to start over. Not pleased about being mid-advised

The worst vet I've ever taken a pet to. They don't get your information correct when dropping off your pet. You don't get to see the vet and all information is relayed to you via the vet tech. My cat was misdiagnosed as well as my dog. Over priced go elsewhere as I don't recommend them at all. If you need a good vet for your pet go to Issaquah.

Simply the best. I have been going to these vets for years, prior to them opening in Snoqualmie, for multiple reasons. It's personal to them. They treat all their clients, human and animal the best. I had two cats, one that everyone LOVED, and one that is, well feisty. Most people don't really know the feisty one as well and he is more difficult to work with, however, the vets and staff at Salish treated them both as special beloved family members which is what they are and they take exceptional care of them based on personality and medical needs. I have complete trust in the entire

Our mid-sized mutt had a recurrent antibiotic resistant infection and received excellent care here from Dr. Kent. The labs/culture came back very quickly. When we told Dr. Kent the previous antibiotic did not work, she proactively prescribed a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which meant our pup was already on the mend by the time the culture came back. The communication via phone and email was clear and efficient with the whole team. The price was actually cheeper than we paid at another clinic for worse care. Our dog is VERY difficult to handle, and they managed to get through the appointment in record

We have always had a positive experience with Salish Vet in our short time of pet ownership. We adopted our Missy last year (7/2019) knowing she was very ill and with the intention of providing her with a loving final home. Even though it was expected, you can never prepare for the end. However, everyone at Salish Vet was so compassionate and caring especially Russel. From my sobbing phone call first thing in the morning to welcoming us to the clinic with our precious baby - he was so kind and understanding and very patient with us through the whole ordeal. The rest was a blur so I didn't catch

100% recommend this Vet with every ounce of my body! They truly saved my sweets dogs life! She needed a life threatening surgery and I had called at least 20 vets before but Salish should have been my 1st call. After so many "no's" and "we are booked out two months" I called Salish and they could take her right away, same day! It was amazing and a Christmas miracle! I'm still in shock I didn't have to choose between my dogs life and a $8k emergency vet bill at a 24/7 clinic! Salish was completely reasonable with pricing and was actually affordable for us! They

We recently switched from NB Animal Clinic due to the fact that the doctor there wasn't wearing a mask. We were so impressed with Salish. We brought our kitten, they took him from our car, took him and and brought him back to us. Everything was done from the car - even payment. So impressed.

The service I received from scheduling my appointment over the phone to the veterinary care was exceptional. I got a puppy at 8 weeks old. The breeder gave her two cycles of shots and deworming treatments. There was a two week window to continue the cycle so I scheduled an appointment at Snoqualmie Ridge Veterinary Hospital for the day she turned 10 weeks old. I was told by the vet that he likes to wait until she is at the 12 week mark to give her next cycle of shots, therefore missing the window. He also had no clue what the skin irritation was on her belly. I quickly asked around and was referred

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We drive 40 minutes to go here and will continue to. When I got Luna almost two years ago I was a first time dog owner, in my mid 20's and found myself really concerned about her health. My landlord recommended this place so I thought I'd give them a shot. I got her on a Monday, brought her in for all her shots on a Tuesday (they have a good puppy package for all their shots), and by the end of the week she was on the brink of death(not because of them). Luna had an insane case of worms, the vet believes her mom had worms when she was pregnant with the pups so Luna

My wife and I visited Salish yesterday with our nearly 14-year-old golden retriever, Youppi, in an emergency--she was pretty much unable to stand or walk, and our regular vet was not open.

Dr. Brown and everyone in the office were great from the moment we arrived; I even asked for assistance getting our dog out of the car (after shoulder surgery a few weeks ago, I can't pick her up), and the staff jumped to help. Then, they treated both us and Youppi with great care and patience, which was very important, as we were all a bit emotional.

The staff explained everything thoroughly, gave us

We have been going to Salish Vet since it opened. Initially care was excellent and no complaints. Exams were thorough.
Lately we have had issues with not thorough exams. Missed lab orders, samples dropped off and gone missing, labs not run and no follow up phone calls.
I got no apologies just a matter of fact statements that the Doctor was focused on something else. Obviously duh. Don't seem to care anymore

A very good friend of mine referred me to Salish, as she had had very good experiences with this place when it came to her dogs. I decided to give them the opportunity to help my dog with what turned out to be age-related spinal problems.

I scheduled the initial appointment, and they were able to get us in that same day, a Wednesday. Okay, score #1. The intake seemed pretty simple, and then the staff showed us into an exam room. Unlike most other places I have been to, this was fairly large, allowing your pet to roam a bit. Score #2. One of the docs came in, but didn't introduce herself
