Hi! I'm Emily, lead planner and owner of Events by Emily, LLC. A little about me: I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2007. After college in the Northeast, I worked in New York City for ten years, before moving to the Triangle in 2017 to start my own company. I began my career in restaurant management, where I developed my palate for food and wine.
Our standard wedding package pricing varies based on your projected guest count and our seasonal availability. Our wedding package pricing starts at $2200.00, and our small event pricing starts at $1,400.00. We're committed to working with each and every client's vision and (most importantly) budget.
She literally thought of everything, so all I had to do on my wedding day was enjoy myself and my new husband. Her incredible taste, pride in her work and dedication to her clients comes through in every decision she makes. She is a talented event planner and I highly recommend her. She knew what we wanted, and executed it without needing us at all the day of the wedding.

Our venue required at least a day-of coordinator, and at first we begrudgingly hired one. However, after our wedding, there is absolutely no way we would ever consider doing it without the help of Events by Emily!
For people looking to hire just a day-of coordinator, they truly went above and beyond. The reason we selected them is because they specifically stated that they view the day-of job as starting a month out, and that certainly rang true. Emily was amazing. She helped us actualize our vision for our son's Bar Mitzvah and it went off without a hitch. We wanted to make the night special with games and cotton candy and she found and coordinated the vendors. We could relax because we knew Emily was on top of everything. We can't thank her enough for helping us throw the best party with low stress. I highly recommend Events by Emily if you want to feel like a person is thinking of everything and coordinating it all so you can relax a bit. Emily and colleague Rebecca are the dream team. They were super organized, knowledgeable about a variety of customs and traditions and - most of all - SO invested in all the work, planning, and care to help make our day really special. Even when they had to remind us a time or 3 to knock out tasks here and there 😆

We originally arranged to work with Events by Emily for our wedding in September 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our celebration until August 2021. Emily was so accommodating with all the changes we were forced to make. Rebecca was an absolute pleasure to work with when planning the reception. Her kindness, flexibility, and positive attitude made the experience wonderful. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks for everything!

We hired Emily (and Rebecca!) for the month-of package and honestly don’t think we could have pulled off our wedding day without them. Our day was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for, all thanks to Emily and Rebecca’s attention to detail, thoughtfulness, foresight, and experience. Our wedding was non-traditional and Emily and Rebecca were so supportive in rolling with us to help us bring our creative vision to life. I'm a wedding photographer and while I haven't had that much opportunity to work with Emily, I know I want to work with her again and again. She is so focused and on top of all the details of the wedding day. She's a calming presence too, so if you think you might be anxious at your wedding, having Emily there to ease the stress is a must.
She's also fun to be around, and as the other vendor who's at your wedding the whole day, I find that pretty important. I want to be able to enjoy the planner's company.
