Socialite Events began with a love for the art of entertaining and organization, two integral requirements for planning a fabulous event! Owner and lead consultant, April Pyatt began her career in the event industry while working for a wedding planner in South Carolina. While learning invaluable skills needed for the business, she decided to open her own company, and in 2008, established Socialite Events.

I enlisted April’s help to bring a concept to life and she did exactly that! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable, which I really appreciated. The event was to celebrate my brothers birthday and also bring family and friends together. Everyone mentioned how beautiful the venue was setup and how much they enjoyed themselves. I wish I had photos to post… but that’s how I know I had a ball… no time for pictures. I couldn’t be happier.

April and her staff are nothing short of perfect! I used them for our wedding and was NOT disappointed. She made us feel as if we were her only clients although we were not.
She is personable, professional, communicative, timely, organized, etc. She created our itinerary, she set up our tables, MC’d our wedding, and did a phenomenal job of bringing our vision to light. Because of April and her staff our wedding was seamless and effortless!!! I cannot thank April enough!! I would highly recommend her services.

April did an absolutely wonderful job for my event. I basically only told her I wanted a nice dinner party for my wife’s birthday. From there, she did everything from creating the details of the event, to sourcing multiple potential chefs, to finding flowers, furniture and linen, to finding a bartender, to tailoring the food menu, to day-of set-up. We had a wide range of great tasting meal options, and the bartender was extremely friendly with everyone. She went even further than I expected with Covid concerns. What can I, the bride, say about Socialite Events? Nothing but the BEST!!! This business is very professional, extremely responsive and I don't know what I would have done without them, my wedding/reception was perfect in my eyes and my husband would say the same. Where do I even begin?! April and her staff are absolutely AMAZING! She made sure that my husband and I had a spectacular wedding day. We got married in 2019, and contacted her about 8 months prior to our wedding date, and she was readily available. She helped make the planning much less daunting, and more pleasurable. WOW. April and her team did an AMAZING job during, and leading up to my October 12th wedding. You know a team is amazing when GUESTS notice during the celebration! Love April! Called of two engagements and she worked with me while I decided to continue to pay my payments and i put off getting married for a while! May 19th 2019 my big day finally came and April was an amazing day of Coordinator! She was so much more than a day of coordinator though! April and her staff at Socialite Events did an outstanding job with bringing my vision to life. They are very professional, friendly, time and detailed oriented, and I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day. If I had any questions or a concerns she responded back in a timely manner. Some of things that I loved about Socialite Events is that April had an emergency kit on hand if needed, she provided everyone with an itinerary of weekend and day of events and that my wedding started on time.
