Ichimora
Ichimora is a small restaurant tucked away in Downtown Fort Lauderdale at Riverwalk Center of City Park Center that can quickly become an extended kitchen of your home with a bold taste of our signature Peking Duck, succulent crockpot fish stew, spicy dry pot, homemade soup, Ramen, noodles, and flavorful rice bowls.

Named after Jay Chou's song Rice Field, Ichimora (Dao Xiang) strives to become your go-to Japanese restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and a place that lets you get comfortable with Asian comfort food. As an integral part of Asian culture and cuisine, rice is considered a true gift of nature. At our place, we hope to translate this natural blessing into the delicious and heartwarming bites that won't only make your tummy happy, but your soul, too.
Services
Just like the lyrics of Jay Chou's song Rice Field portray an image of a mesmerizing wavy motion of wind blowing over the rice on the paddy field, spreading its fragrance into the air, we at Ichimora strive to create the same caressing and gentle atmosphere perfect for taking some much-needed time for treating the inner self through mindful environment and eating.
Asian street foods have their own code of tradition and personality, which allows the dedicated Ichimora team to be even more passionate about delivering the most delicious bites to our customers. We want to share the knowledge and tradition and let everyone in on some little secrets that turn the story of our homey dishes into a special experience beyond the food itself.
If you're currently enrolled in a hospitality or culinary major and have a love for learning, you may be interested in joining our Ichimora team through an internship. Our Ichimora internship will give students the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational kitchen and restaurant that offers an eating experience like no other.

Saw an Instagram post about the reopening in 2022. Since it’s close to my home, I went ahead to give it a try. This place was in an unexpected location. The interior presentation was nicely decorated. Since this place just reopened, the menu is limited and I wasn't able to try some of the signature dishes that they have. My friend and I ordered Karaage Fried Chicken, and Pork Gyoza for starters, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Dinner size Poke Bowl for the main dish. The Pork Gyoza stood out as the style was something different than most, it was just like what I had in japan. Both Karaage and Gyoza

Ramen has become my favorite food of all time. I can't believe I didn't try it years ago, but seems like I'm making up for lost time because if I can choose, I'm choosing ramen.

This restaurant is fairly new in the neighborhood, but there's something about the overall vibe that makes you feel like you're home.

The variety of ramen here is excellent and the taste is amazing! Service is quick and friendly.

Nothing to complain about. Service was very good and respectful. Food was super authentic Japanese from the food, the noodle they use for the ramen we ordered, to the dish and bowls are all Japanese made. The location isn't ideal but when we stepped inside, it was very spacious and well decorated! So everything was 5/5

We are new to town and weren't sure where to try from, we only tried the spicy ramen and Gyoza. Both were solidly tasty! I would definitely order again. I was happy with the time it took to deliver and how well packaged our ramen was. The only issue I really had at all was that the gyoza is supposed to be crispy but because of being delivered was more soggy than crispy. I don't see that as an error on the restaurant but more an inherent issue ordering any crispy fried food for delivery.

This newly opened restaurant will quickly move to the top as one of the best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Their ramen is the best in town. Incredible aromas and flavors in every dish. The location seems unlikely at first, but somehow seems to add to the experience as you are transported away from the pedestrian buzz of Las Olas to a more intimate and charming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return.

WOW!!! This place is incredible! South Florida has had a severe lack of authentic Asian eateries for quite some time and its nice to see some restaurants popping up...especially during the current state of the world with the pandemic in full swing.

Ichimora fuses together various Asian cuisine (mostly Chinese and Japanese) together in a very unique way. Let's start with the Baogel...it's basically a Bagel, utilizing Bao dough, and then inside is braised pork mixed with scallions and it's amazing (and filling, it's definitely shareable).

For my main course I had the Kogashi

This restaurant is awesome, my wife and I came her searching for some ramen but we ended up ordering way more! We came across this page in the hot in new section! So glad we came here, the ramen was phenomenal! The spicy is so flavorful in the Tonkotsu, and for my black garlic Tonkotsu was awesome! What took away from all the items was the BAOGEL I have never heard or seen this in my life, shredded pork, scallions and cilantro all in a bagel. If I could describe it, it was like a melt in your mouth feel with robust flavors. We loved everything about Ichimora, the atmosphere and decor was beautiful

This hideaway is worth it! It's definitely tucked away, but I think if the word gets out more they will be a popular little secret in Fort Lauderdale. I went for lunch on a Tuesday and there were many people getting take out, but I recommend dining in. The staff was SO kind and accommodating and the ramen was the best I've had in South Florida. Definitely check it out!

There's a new spot in town, and it is GOOD! Stopped by for ramen and appetizers, and all the food was amazing.

Pecking Duck - Sooo delicious. It comes wrapped in a rice wrap with cucumbers and this sweet delicious sauce. The duck was full of flavor, perfectly crispy skin and the tender meat just made it that much better.

Skewers/ Kushiyaki - We ordered the short rib and the exotic mushrooms wrapped in beef Kushiyaki. My favorite was the exotic mushrooms! It comes with Enoki, White mushrooms, and King Oyster Mushrooms. You can definitely taste the difference. They were so juicy and the beef

What a pleasure it was to discover this small restaurant. When I hear Japanese I usually think of only sushi, but this restaurant is the contrary. Dry pot choices as well as yakitori and other options make it a stand out. It's a bit difficult to find as it's basically next to a parking lot in the heart of downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Food quality and service were both great. The decor is very nice and the prices are in line both with the serving sizes and the quality of the ingredients. I would highly recommend you stop by if you are looking for something out of the usual. They also

All I can say is "Wow!" Finally real ramen in Fort Lauderdale. The tonkotsu broth was perfectly balanced, clearly made with love and time. The pork was out of this world and I believe home made noodles. The table next to use ordered the duck, next on the list. This is well done food folks. If you are looking for an authentic, homey Japanese atmosphere, this is it. Yum. Yum. Yum.

Holy heck . This is the type of place you always wish was on the area but have to settle for a lame attempt at what this place is. Just go, then go again and make sure you get the scallion pancake each time.

Found this place by accident. Was in the mood for ramen and this came up in search. After finding it, since it's literally next to parking garage, I realized it is truly a hidden gem. Must try if you're in the mood for a more authentic Japanese meal.

Authentic! Authentic! Lover of good traditional ramen, if it ain't broke don't fix it. It's a-little tough to find as its in the parking garage (yes, that's what I said) next to Nicks subs. Once you walk inside it is aesthetically pleasing and follows lots of the Japanese decor you see at more traditional modern ramen places.

I decided on the black garlic ramen and the enoki mushrooms with beef. The ramen broth was out of this world and the noodles were amazing ( waitress told me they get them from NY because they couldn't find what they wanted here). The beef appetizer

I was born and raised in Tokyo so I'm very picky when it comes to ramen but their ramen is VERY GOOD!!! Broth was rich, noodle cooked perfectly, and the cha-shu (the slice of Pork-belly) was not heavy. This is one of two places I would go get ramen in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area.

Well, we found it... likely the best Ramen in Broward. The tonkatsu was rich and creamy, the chashu pork is savory, the nitamago is well seasoned (soy, not salt) and the noodles... oh the noodles. We have been to Japan and when we lived in NYC would frequent Ippudo- with that background, I can tell you this place is legit and very authentic.

Ichimora is amazing!!! This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been too. I had a bunch of Grilled beef skewers, lamb sweets, and obviously shishito peppers which was monnneeeyyy.

The meet was cooked perfectly. I didn't try the beef tongue but maybe just maybe I might. The service was great and just glad places are starting to open back up.

I'll be back for sure to try the ramen next time.

This place is my new found gem! We got scallion pancake, chicken gyoza, Peking duck, veggie miso ramen, Kogashi garlic ramen.
First, let me tell y'all, the Peking Duck is no joke! On point and very authentic! The most important part to Peking Duck is the wrap, and theirs is nicely thin, just right! Must try for those duck fans!
The broth to both ramen, nicely flavor accompany with the noodles that are fresh and i believe hand made.
The dumplings and scallion tasted fresh and home made, not from freezer style.

Ichimora is a must try as there are not much authentic Japanese/Chinese joints

I have tried ramen from many places but I was surprised by the amazing food and service Ichimora provides. The ramen is fresh and the broth will take your taste buds to places it hasn't ever been before. The kushiyaki was really tasty. I had grilled short rib and grilled beef skewers. Very authentic. The proportion size was perfect not too heavy but not skimpy. The hospitality is amazing. Place is clean. Service is quick and spot on.

My husband has been wanting to try this place, so we ordered delivery to our house in Boca. That may explain why the zha jiang mian noodles were dry and clumpy. However, there was no good way to reconstitute them because there was so little sauce, and it was so watered down. I don’t like wasting food so believe me, I really tried to make them edible. I think it would have tasted great if there had been enough sauce. The tonkotsu ramen didn’t taste like tonkotsu ramen and my husband actually wound up throwing that out. The karaage tasted great. They were flavorful and juicy, though they had
