Piazza Italia, our family owned restaurant, has its roots from the mountains and foothills of Calabria, Southern Italy. This is the land that our family, who were farmers and shepherds, instilled in us a love and great appreciation for authentic, farm to table Italian food. We immigrated to the U.S many years ago but our parents continued the art of growing their own food.
Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America, now has its very own Piazza. In our version guests will also experience a one of a kind augmented reality ceiling, which creates an unforgettable visit to Piazza Italia. Our cuisine is offered in our fine dining Venetian room, the casual Piazza, and the outdoor Vineyard.
Italian fine dining at its best! The Venetian Room features an exquisite seasonal menu, a carefully stocked wine cellar, bespoke blown glass decor, and an unparalleled level of service. The romantic setting offers an intimate upscale dining experience.
Headed by award winning Award-winning Chef Salvatore Oriente and Sommelier Antonio Callea, the Venetian Room is a new way of experiencing Italian cuisine as you can select dishes from destination cities of Italy and enjoy the regional taste made just like the locals in those renowned areas. This new concept changes the whole normal restaurant experience into a mouth-watering tour of Italy.

Couldn't get into Louie Bossi because the wait was 1.75hr so decided to try Piazza Italia. My husband and I were very pleased. I ordered the truffle fries which were so good. For my entree I was craving pasta with mushrooms and the waiter David said he could add mushrooms to the tortellini and it boy was it delicious. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli and loved it. We ended our dinner with a delicious tiramissu. David was so accomadating and professional. We would definitely come back again. The only complaint I have is that the restrooms were run down. Other than that great spot

This was our first time here and definitely not our last. Our server David was awesome. He gave us great recommendations for dinner. We had the salmon almondine which was great. We had a table in the patio in the back which was really nice. The icing on the cake was the surprise birthday cake with the special candle. The restaurant will see us again. My daughter loved her birthday dinner.

I came to restaurant because the google reviews seem enticing but it was literally disgusting. The calamari tasted like it was taken out of a frozen dinner box & not cooked properly. The risotto was the worst risotto I've tasted in my life. The only thing I could say tasted average was the bread that they brought to the table. I would much rather eaten from a fast food restaurant.

We had such an amazing rehearsal dinner here last week. Everything was perfect! The communication with Michael the manager was tops from the time I called to set it up to the night of the event. He was always responsive with all my questions. Everyone was raving over the appetizers, the dinner and deserts! The wait staff was on point the entire evening and we never waited on anything. They were extremely professional and polite. They were very quick with cocktails as well. We had 36 people at the event and everyone was so impressed. I want to thank everyone who helped make this a memorable evening

I went for a Galentines day! I enjoyed the light show display on the ceiling and the food was tasty. I just would mention the parking was a hassle. But otherwise, it's a nice spot in Las Olas.

This place is very fun. I came late night and this place turns into a club. Rocky the bartender is absolutely amazingggggg. Drinks were perfectly made, strong, she was attentive, friendly. Another bartender also served me (I wish I could remember his name) and was also pretty awesome. The music was a great mixture of different genres which is great because everyone will enjoy this place. While there a fight broke out and security wasted no time removing the people. Cops were also outside to assist and the fun continued pretty quickly. This place is quite far from me but if I am ever in the area

Food was phenomenal. Service was great. Went here with 8 people. Had a bottle of wine (pinot grigio) and a few sodas as drinks. Started with the cheese and meat board, sopressata, Asiago, etc. Had prosciutto and melon, the melon was perfectly ripe and prosciutto high quality. Also had rice balls, also amazing as the sauce was perfect. For entrees, had the ribeye added roasted potatoes instead of arugula; the chicken parmesan; 3 of them had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo (the shrimp was colossal); and seafood pasta. We literally had every dessert 🍨 on the menu including the tiramisu, the profiteroles

This is the place to party on Las Olas! A bunch of us went here after dinner and loved the open environment that faced the street. You can eat dinner or just listen to the DJ and dance; which is what we did for hours on a Friday night. The club side has a cool ceiling with graphics changing to the beat of the music.
Our server was quick to take and fill our drink orders. She kept them coming at a perfect pace.
The DJ was playing a great variety of music. There's a dance floor at the back near him. Everyone was having a great time, including the police officer watching the entrance; even

If you want Italian and are reading this- GO HERE!! The restaurant itself is so cool. They have many different rooms and cool spots to eat. The food is something else! My friend and I shared the burrata, truffle tortellini and vodka gnocchi and it was delicious. We found ourself saying "wow this place is great" X10 through the experience. The bread was so fresh, too. Get the sangria to pair with your meal. Cheers!

Very average food, disappointing.
With so many Italian restaurants to choose from on Las Olas and elsewhere in Fort Lauderdale you would think that they would have really great food. Not so.
I ordered the Margarita Pizza which says it comes with basil but there was none on it. See my attached picture. The pizza was Bland the sauce really had no taste and the crust was not crispy at all. Choosing a good pizza is so subjective and I've been to Italy many times and New York Italian restaurants. I'd sooner go to Sicilian Oven or Luigi's to get good pizza
My friend ordered the ravioli

Solid 4 stars! Made reservations the day of when looking for a nice Italian spot in Las Olas, and we came across Piazza Italia.
The food was wonderful. We started with bruscetta, which didn't disappoint. It came with about 8 pieces, so there is plenty to share. For dinner we had the eggplant which was the traditional non-breaded/fried eggplant. The flavor was great and it also came with a side of pasta. We were able to customize the type of side pasta and sauce.
We were craving some cacio e pepe, which is not onn the menu. However, upon asking they were able to aaccomodate this
