Our goal is to provide exceptional service in a relaxed and friendly environment. As much as we love walk-ins, appointments are preferred as to better accommodate everyone's busy schedules.

Here’s a review for something other than hair color! I’ve been going to Hair Essence for many years for eyebrow waxing. Nicole, the esthetician always does a fantastic job! I don’t get there as often as I’d like nowadays because I live about 25min away but that just goes to show I’m willing to make the trip to get great service! She is also super friendly and always remembers me. I would highly recommend for any waxing needs as they offer many services. They are also reasonably priced from other salons.

I have been to Hair Essence twice now with Brenda. Her shampooing skills are amazing. I always feel so relaxed after!! I have also been really pleased with how she has cut my hair. She really listens to what you want and makes sure you're happy. Definitely recommend this place. They all make you feel welcome and comfortable. Thanks Brenda!

I went there to get highlights because I had dyed my hair too dark. The day before I had dyed it orange. My stylist Carla after looking at my hair said that highlighting my hair would cause more damage and suggested a new hair style other than the what I had recently had done. She created a style that framed my face and was easy to care for and after she was done the dark hair color looked great in me as well as the hair style. I appreciate the fact that she just didn’t go ahead and just highlight my hair because she was in it just for the money. I have already set up an appointment for my daughter

I had a wonderful experiences at Hair Essence and Design. I’m so pleased with the outcome! Melissa did a fantastic job!! She really listened to what I wanted and literally made the impossible happen (blue highlights last minute, making my stressed hair look healthy and shiny again). I will definitely be back!! Just had my appointment with Melissa and I absolutely love my hair. I had root color, all over toner, a haircut, and styling done. I came in with a couple pics and she totally nailed it! Very reasonably priced too! My last salon would have been double. Also, since I was a first time customer, I got a goodie bag filled with product and coupons! So awesome! I will definitely be back and will be referring people!

I was super iffy about going to a hair salon up here by Milwaukee since I recently just moved up here and wasn't super familiar with any of them. But I ended up coming to Hair Essence Design Studio because it wasnt to far from me and it had great reviews. I had my hair colored and by trimmed Brenda & I am absolutely in love with it !! She did such an amazing job !
