Munhall Veterinary Hospital is a multi-doctor veterinary hospital that has served the local Munhall community and Pittsburgh region for nearly 30 years. We provide small animal veterinary services ranging from annual wellness care to advanced surgery. Open six days a week with extended hours, our veterinarians and staff will ensure that your furbaby receives the best medical care possible.
Munhall Veterinary Hospital is a full service facility, providing preventive as well as sick animal outpatient and inpatient care for your special pets. Our outpatient care includes vaccinations, laboratory and radiology services and annual health and wellness examinations. We also provide routine and advanced surgical care for your special pet including spays, neuters, declaws, and dentistry.
Scheduling an annual wellness exam for your pet is critically important. Pets age at a faster rate than humans, therefore, the veterinarian may be able to detect and alert you to any issues with your pet at their annual wellness exam. At each wellness exam, the veterinarian will conduct a thorough physical exam of your pet, checking head to tail for any abnormalities.
Do not assume bad breath, loose or discolored teeth, or bleeding gums are normal. These can be warning signs of periodontal disease that can lead to further complications with the heart, liver or kidneys. Dental Exams - your pet's mouth will be thoroughly inspected by the veterinarian during your pet's annual wellness exam.
Your precious pet will be in good hands should he/she need any surgery at Munhall Veterinary Hospital. Our veterinarians have experience in performing advanced as well as routine surgeries.
We understand the anxiety you may feel when your pet requires a procedure involving anesthesia and our veterinarians and professional staff will answer any questions or concerns you may have for your pet, and we will ensure that he/she receives safe and compassionate care from the time your pet checks in to the hospital, until your pet leaves to go home.

Wonderful vet hospital with wonderful staff. everyone is so kind and attentive. vet hospitals are absolutely crazy busy right now, but Munhall always made time for us and never made us feel rushed or unwanted. Dr. K is incredible. she helped my late cat to the best of her ability. she is very knowledgeable and always listened to our questions and concerns. i wouldn't have wanted to take Dash anywhere else.
thank you so much to Dr. K and the staff at Munhall Vet Hospital. when i'm ready to adopt again, i'll be coming back to Munhall Vet.

I have been bringing my dogs to Munhall Veterinary Hospital for many years. The staff is very responsive to my pet's needs especially during emergency visits. They also worked together with a speciality hospital when my current dog needed cateract surgery. I am very appreciative of their complete and compassionate care.

I have only gone to this vet 3 times because we moved out of county, however I would highly recommend! Very professional and welcoming staff! Very up front and will work with you if you need it based on your financial situation! Any time I need past medical records they email them to me within the hour!

My dog donut loves to go to the vet because of all the wonderful people there they are very caring and responsible when they have your pet in their c a r e I have never had a problem with anyone there and I feel the prices are excellent. You are getting fresh quality prescriptions and food if you need it for your dog. All the girls are very personable I especially love Stephanie but the other girls are all equally as nice and caring. I would recommend this vet to anyone the doctors are extremely professional and very knowledgeable.
