OBSESSED! I came to this place during the summer and loved their frosès so I wasn't sure what the winter vibe would be like and I liked it equally as much if not more! Their frozen specialty drinks are also a hit - strong and delicious! The ambiance is so cute, fun and inviting. Great place for a unique date night or time with friends. Definitely want to try their food next time but this time we had dinner downstairs at Cathedrale which was also out of this world!

Nice rooms, great amenities. Alphabet bar with free skeeball, Cathedrale and the Ready rooftop bar were all awesome. My only complaint would probably be the way they have the bed against the wall... The person sleeping near the window has to get up and over their partner to get out of bed.

Wow, this was a 10/10 experience for my boyfriend and I! We had been wanting to go to a Christmas pop-up sort of bar and found this one on our last hope search and we were not disappointed! I love reservations so seeing that they take them made me feel prepared. We were about 20 minutes late however due to train delays since it was New Years but we were still seated quickly with no issues. We went around 2pm and it was pretty empty which meant social distancing was a lot easier for us since we were the only people in our section.

The food was 10/10! My first time ever trying Chicken Tinga and

The good: service & staff were excellent, kind, warm, and helpful. We made some special requests and they were cheerfully accommodated.
The bad: Strange things were awry - our bed was missing a top sheet, the room wasn’t super clean, the shower sprayed water far outside the shower area, the bathroom light wouldn’t turn on unless all the lights in the room were on, we had two room service visits after requesting no visits to our room. It all felt a bit chaotic, probably due to understaffing.
Location and staff helped a lot, but I wouldn’t stay here again considering how many places there

New favorite rooftop bar!! This is the cutest spot in the middle of the east village. Taking the elevator up to this hidden oasis where you feel as if you're in a tropical winter wonderland (I know that makes zero sense, but you HAVE to visit, and you will understand right away). This is an indoor rooftop so is not impacted by the weather. Instead, there are flamingo- filled Christmas trees and neon colored Adirondack chairs.

The drinks are so creative--and I fully recommend trying the boozy apple cider donut! It's a must have

Since we didn't get a chance to try the food, this review is solely based off drinks and ambience. Came with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait! We even got a table, and didn't feel like the place was too crowded. However, do recommend making a reservation, since there was a wave of people that came after us and had to grab seats at the bar.

The decor was so fun and on point! Every aspect was thought out and they paid so much attention to detail. Loved the tropical vibes, which is a little different than the standard holiday setup, and the holiday drinks were great

This place is super cute and I bet it stays the way year round! Came here spontaneously and it was perfect. The rooftop is enclosed so it's not cold. They decorated the place really well for Christmas! Also who doesn't love a cold hot chocolate drink, much wow!! Definitely come here!!

My friend and I stopped by while waiting for our show to start in Webster Hall across the street. We came around 8 PM on a Wednesday night and were allowed to walk in without a reservation. Thankfully, as soon as we arrived there were a couple of spots available so we took those seats at the bar.

Since we were at the bar we were able to order drinks and food with the bartender. Our bartender seemed like a friendly guy but he just spent the whole time talking to the people next to us and it was very difficult to get his attention to get our orders going, more drinks and even our check at the end

Hotel front desk staff was super nice. Rooms were perfect in cleanliness and up to date. They had the best shower ever. Water pressure was amazing! The only thing I would ask differently is maybe send the email about hotel and its restaurants more than 2 days before. Rooftop & Cathedral required reservations which were all booked up by the time I was notified.

This is the first time we stayed at the Moxy East and we LOVED it! Great location with an awesome NY vibe. We were in NY to look at colleges and we loved our Quad room which was so different from any of the hotels we have stayed in and we will definitely come back and book the QUAD room again. The decor is "outside of the box" from traditional hotels and the staff is great! Super clean and decor was functional and well though of. A big thank you to Alexa Silver for being a great host! Mac Ward and Ashley were awesome too! We are definitely booking Moxy East again! Great staff and customer service

We came to The Ready because we were staying at The Moxy and needed a place to hang out before dinner. It was around 1:30 pm on a Saturday and it was busy but not uncomfortably busy. We managed to snag two seats at the bar. The tables all seemed to be full with young people celebrating birthdays, etc. I say young people because hubby and I are in our mid 40s and younger than most by 20+ but we didn't feel out of place.
I had the frosé and it was nice and boozy. I just didn't like the paper straw because it quickly fell apart and couldn't use it to drink. I also ordered an Aperol

Very cute rooftop with a lovely ambiance and delicious drinks! The decor is really pretty and hip, filled with pastels and lush greenery. They take reservations but we went as walk-ins during a Sunday afternoon and had no issues. We tried the frose which was amaaazing and very refreshing! We also tried the watermelon sugar frozen cocktail which was definitely my favorite out of the two. Prices are a bit steep but the drinks were strong so worth it. The food menu is small composed of bar snacks like nuts, guac and then a variety of tacos, so I'd just be mindful of that if you're coming

Was super excited to visit this place as the pictures online are so vibrant and set a good mood, however service was the worst part of this experience. Drinks were rather expensive and not strong at all, but there was confusion at who was serving our table (we did not want to order through our phones because of potential credit card fees through the application). We had ordered drinks and it was probably about 30-40 minutes later and nothing came, and we notice people who arrived after us getting their drinks so we flag down someone and when we bring that issue up to her that we hadn't gotten

The East Village has become my favorite place to stay in the City. The Moxy was really fantastic! They have outstanding customer service. The staff is really good. For example our friends had an issue with the AC in their room at 11pm - it was fixed right away and the hotel notified them. I've seen some people complain about the room size and I don't get it. The rooms are not huge, but what do you expect. We had plenty of room for 2 and the shower was awesome. There is storage, places to hang clothing, and shelving above/below the TV. It's a lot of room for the money by NYC standards. Location

A lush oasis replete with hanging edison bulbs, brightly colored patio furniture, a full bar, plenty of greenery, and a nice city views make for what will undoubtedly be a popular rooftop bar for summers to come. It sits atop the Moxy hotel's East Village location and draws the sort of young, homogenous crowds one would expect from a place like this. That being said, I won't turn down a frose or two on a summer's day with the right company, and if you go before the crowds descend, the Ready is a perfectly enjoyable place to be in.

Some things to note-- the menu is very limited,

This is a cool instagram-worthy rooftop located on the Moxy in East Village. It has a very cool tropical theme which transports you to a day in Tulum. We made a reservation which might be a good idea if you're going during a busy time since it's a relatively small space. They have a number of (pricey) cocktails and a regular bar available. They didn't have many food options other than a few tacos and some chips/guac. But overall thought it was a cool, trendy bar to get a drink with friends on a hot summer afternoon.

Stumbled upon this on Memorial Day weekend, and had such a blast! Was here a few times since, and every time was a great experience!
First off, I love that you can order individually, it makes checks TEN BAZILLION times easier and I wish everyone would do this! Especially places that tend to have big groups.

Their frose was utterly my favorite, and they also have an amazing gin drink, maybe with raspberry. Can't remember :)

They do little bites, guac and tacos and things like that, and all are great!

Servers are always pleasant, and the vibe and decor is always pretty cool. Such a nice

This new-ish rooftop is located on top of the Moxy East Village. They close kind of early (10pm) so maybe this is a place to pregame.

It's not that big and its always busy. The space is nice and the crowd isn't too rowdy. It's a good space for groups and definitely not for intimate convos because the music is very loud.

It has overall laidback trendy party vibes.

I would recommend for small or large groups!

The Ready Rooftop Bar is a tropical oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle. It was a rainy evening, but the fully enclosed roof saved our evening plans! The atmosphere is inviting and the decor makes you feel like you're on vacation. I loved the convenience of ordering food and drinks from your phone. We ordered the Beef Brisket and Crispy Pork tacos along with chips and guacamole. The tacos were were flavorful, delicious, and filling. The chips were light and flaky with a hint of spice. If I were to change one thing it would be the selection of music as it did not match the vibe of the

What an awesome experience, We met Rj the VIP host, and we asked him for a cool spot to sit, as it was HOT, we sat outdoors on the roof and miraculously there was an Ac or fan? (hidden behind the couches?) what a brilliant idea, so even though we were outdoors in smoldering heat, we were kept cool, I truly appreciated that, because I am always hot, even in the winter. The view was outstanding, and there was contactless ordering- meaning you place all your orders online and pay/ tip. And they bring your drinks to you, super cool! The music was great!, staff were so friendly and helpful, and the

I had a wonderful time here at this groovy rooftop bar with a couple friends to celebrate Pride.
This place was warm it was lively and comfortable. Drinks I had were very good my only draw backs if I'm honest are not having more options for cocktails & there is not enough variety for food In the menu it's just tacos pretty much.

Rooftop season is upon us and it brought this swanky and oh so trendy new bar/lounge with it. Go for the cocktails, stay for the views from every side, cute baby fig trees in concrete sneaker planters, friendly staff and of course, tacos & guacamole.

To say I was smitten with The Ready is a big understatement. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait in line, and although we were told there was a two hour table limit, my group of 8 or 9 was never made to feel like we had to hurry. They also were super nice about us shifting around to a new spot to get out of that direct sun.

Frosé, vegan tacos, guac and a gorgeous rooftop that makes you forget you're in a concrete jungle rather than the lush tropical one that surrounds you up here? Yes, please!

But first, let me talk about our incredible waitress, Breanna, who handled our table of 10 with aplomb. I can't say enough good things about her, from moving us to a table in the shade (if you come at 4:30ish, there's both sunny and shady spots), to being there just when we needed her. She also made food suggestions for me, as the only vegan at the table, and brought out the cheese that would normally top the

The best part about this spot is the vibes. I appreciate how much thought was put into the decor and functionality - it's great that they have a retractable rooftop. (Especially because it rained tonight!)

From some of the spots you can see the One World Trade Center which is also super nice.

The menu is quite limited, with only a few tacos and some bar snacks. I know they are brand new, so I'm hoping they are able to expand their menu in the future. I'm happy that the price point on the tacos is around $4.50, not bad but they are pretty small.

I didn't care for the chicken
