Services
Established in the year 1900 by John J. Jennings, in the "undertaking" service in North Scranton, with a livery service of horse drawn carriages. As years passed the services evolved into the Funeral Home, which was located on West Market Street, Scranton. Mary Jennings, FD (John J. Jennings's daughter) joined the firm in 1947 continuing the operation of the funeral home.
Since our founding, the guiding principle of Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. has been the commitment to treating each family who comes to us as our own. With sincerity, pride, and dedication, we are committed to this time-honored tradition. Our family opened the doors of the funeral home over 115 years ago.

Coming from Interstate 81 or Interstate 476 you will take the off-ramp towards Clarks Summit which will be US-6 W/US-11 N. Continue 1.6 miles which will take you through the borough of Clarks Summit. You will pass a gas station on your right, then a Catholic Church on your right. Once pass the Catholic Church you will be turning onto Colburn Avenue which is the second right hand turn before the red, brick post office after the PNC Bank.

Mr. Calvey handled my father-in-law's funeral, and you could not have asked for a more loving and caring person as well as his staff to handle your love ones. I don't live in PA but I have told everyone I know what a fantastic job they did in helping with the arrangements and everything thing else that they did. Thank you all for everything you did.
