Since 2014, Dr. Kathryn Jagow has provided the Mountlake Terrace community with gentle, patient-focused care. Our location has been offering quality dentistry for 50 years, and Dr. Jagow is proud to carry on the tradition of excellence in her newly renovated, modern dental office. I have now been to see Dr. Jagow twice in the last 3 weeks.
Once for a first time cleaning, and second for a filling to be replaced. She is very informative about what she is doing and makes sure you are comfortable with everything before she does it. There was no discomfort at all with anything she did, including drilling out the old filling without numbing me (at my choice).

BEWARE. If the dentist decides she doesn't like you ("not a good fit", to be precise) she will discharge you as a patient. Super helpful! I guess spending thousands at her "practice" wasn't good enough. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people, especially during a pandemic. If you have any type of anxiety DO NOT GO HERE, they do not care. Shameful.

Can't say enough great things about Dr. Jagow and her staff. I don't know how she hires such a strong team but everyone seems happy to be there and is good at what they do. Natalie in front of office is great and such a breath of fresh air from front end staff in most offices you find. Dr. Jagow fosters a judgment free zone where they really care about your comfort. She is the first dentist I've ever seen who makes drilling for fillings totally pain free. My old insurance was out of network but I didn't care I was happy to pay the difference to continue to keep going to such

Update: No bill was ever sent but now I've been sent to collections. Your staff need training!
Had to get the crown redone as well
Receptionist lied to me about how much I owed after I told told them we were struggling to afford treatment. Now they are harassing me for double what I paid because she was wrong!
To make matters worse my State dental provider found that they did a horrible job setting the crown and I am out even more money if they are unable to correct the error next week.

COVID-19 update. Dr. Jagow and her staff and extremely careful. I have been into the office three times since the pandemic began. They quickly shifted their operations and go above and beyond what is required. I want to be sure to add that the pandemic has added some extra anxiety to my every day life. Today I had a filling removed and refilled and told the doc I was anxious. Dr. Jagow took her time and did everything she could to comfort me, including talking about musicals! My appointment was at 4 PM. Imagine that! They were trying to make ME feel better at the end of their very long day! I cannot

I have been a patient of Dr Jagow for 6 years now. Before we moved here I can honestly say that I was not a fan of going to the dentist and would avoid going unless absolutely necessary. I now know what it feels like to have a great experience at the dentist. I appreciate the care and extra effort everyone puts into each of my visits to make sure I understand what is going on and how we can keep my teeth healthy. I've been seeing Kathryn and her team for a couple of years now and I picked her office simply because it is very close to where I live. I've had many cleanings, x-rays, a filling, fitting for night guards, and a pretty urgent extraction all done with her.
Everyone there is super friendly and seems very genuine, the front desk is really easy to work with on billing and insurance questions and happy to answer questions. Kathryn and every hygienist and assistant that I've dealt with is as careful and thorough as they can be.
I'm not someone who is super stoked about going to any dentist or doctors

I have been seeing Dr. Jagow for a little over a year now and my experience has been nothing but extraordinary.
After several unpleasant and painful dentist experiences I came to Dr. Jagow from a referral from my cousin. I shared my past dental experiences and she had her staff have been nothing but supportive, encouraging, and gentle. I would be looking for another dentist anytime soon.

I am thirty years old and have lived all over the country and in England. I have to say that Dr. Jagow is the most exceptional dentist I've yet to come across. My first visit she meticulously cleaned my teeth herself and was helpful in not only teaching me things about my teeth, but also was conservative in any repairs, which was refreshing. The one cavity she did fill on my second visit, she took great care wth the anesthesia and made the whole expierence suprisingly comfortable. I would recomend her to anyone!

I love Dr. Jagow! She and her staff are professional, kind and courteous. I found her on yelp when I had a dental emergency last summer and was graciously fit in on the same day. I always get promptly greeted by name and a smile from Kerrie. I've always been a little bit of an anxious dental patient (childhood memories of other dentists) but Dr. Jagow is super gentle and explains everything along the way. Most of these people on Yelp must be fake. The only thing this dentist cares about is her pocketbook, she totally quoted me one price and would not let me leave the office until I paid an extra $110 exactly and that's the truth. I should have called the police and not paid I'm older and on a fixed income I cried when I left the office she knew she had done wrong. Save yourself don't go there. Sure she's nice if you have money if not you're wasting HER precious time.

If your looking for a dentist treats that you like family your search is over. I recently moved to Seattle from California and was on the search of a new dentist. A family friend recommended her, so I booked an appointment over the phone and when I hung up a text message was sent confirming the appointment. Love it!

I had to find a new dentist closer to home (last one was in Olympia, liked him, but just too far to drive) and I am very glad Dr. Jagow was the first (and only) one I tried. She is friendly, careful, knowledgable, and her entire staff make this office a pleasant place to visit a few times out of the year. I cannot recommend enough. Plus, they've got TVs above the chairs... Sweet! :)

Dr. Katie and her staff are the best. My old dentist was not personable or very friendly, and the staff here far outdid themselves. Roxanne was super welcoming and introduced herself when I came into the office, and Dr. Katie really displayed her expertise when she was working on my teeth. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Man, what can I say? so far this is the nicest place i've been to when it comes to people putting their hands in my mouth. One thing I can say is when you go inside, it doesn't have that weird stale creepy mad scientist feel what so ever. The 3 Ladies are very professional. All and any questions I've had regarding my treatments were answered with high regard to my dental health. I really appreciate Dr. Jagow's many attempts to call me for follow up on procedures. Thank you again. I totally recommend anyone who is in need of a new Dr to come on by.
