I am Dr. Zachary Streit; a proud Edmonds native who has been fortunate enough to come back home and lead the team at Distinctive Dentistry (taking over from my childhood Dentist). After graduating from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, I headed down to San Francisco, ultimately earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

The staff goes above and beyond. The dentist can be intimidating, but they do all they can to ensure you’re comfortable. They don’t just perform services, they make sure you have an understanding of your oral health. They provide tips and tricks to improve your oral health and encourage questions. I was initially reluctant to keep my teeth cleaning appointment because of Covid. After talking with the receptionist and hearing all the steps being taken to keep everyone as safe as possible, I went. I waited in my car and they called me when they were ready for me. My temperature was taken upon arrival, everyone was wearing a mask and there was not another patient in the chair one room over. Every step was taken to insure my safety and theirs and I felt very comfortable with the new protocol. I would highly recommend Distinctive Denistry.

I have to post this review so people who have similar problems can be aware of the potential outcome. I came to the office for a cavity fill. It was a big cavity that I was already warned by another dentist that I might need a root canal. I did discussed with Dr. Streit, and he said that the cavity was not deep enough so it didn't touch the nerve so no root canal was performed. However, I repeatedly told him the cavity tooth was very sensitive before the fill and and feels like a big gap or hole in between the teeth with sensitivity after the fill. I wish I could give a negative star rating as this was the worst dental experience I have ever had! He believes in saving teeth? Hogwash!
I had a cavity that was below the gum line so Dr. S said it needed to be pulled. When I questioned that decision, he just shook his head impatiently and proceeded to pull the tooth.
The tooth was healthy enough that he had to put all his body weight into trying to yank out my tooth.
I already have severe dental fear, so it wasn't long before tears were streaming down my face.
This really pissed him off, so he snapped at me saying;
"Do you want more

Of the 6 dentists I’ve had in my lifetime Dr Streit and his staff have given me the best care ever. Dr Streit inspired my confidence immediately with his thoroughness, skill and is gentle yet effective. Also true for the dental hygienist. Knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly staff. Front desk, Dental Assistant (Kathy, Angela, Ashley), Dr. Streit, Dental hygienist (Ashanti) = awesome. After living in Boston, MA for almost 14 yrs, since moving back in 2006, I shamefully admit that I have not found my go-to dentist. That said, after being disappointed with several dentists, I am truly thankful for being led to Dr. Streit and his team. Super efficient, caring, professional, meticulous, and overall great at what they do. I am now having my husband go see Dr. Streit and the team after moving from Oregon (and he too shamefully not having a regular dentist). Pleasantly surprised

I don't know where to begin when saying that my experience with the entire team at Distinctive Dentistry far exceeded my expectations! I walked in this morning fearful and unsure of what to expect at my first dentist appointment in years. However, that quickly changed! Dr. Streit explained everything that needs to be addressed and suggested a great treatment plan in such a calm, professional way. I can't wait to go back for my next appointment!

I was in need of a cosmetic fix for a chip on my front tooth. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and in the morning before work too. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Streit did fantastic work on my tooth. It's not the first time it's been replaced, but it is definitely the best job I've had done. He was careful and concientious of my comfort. I think I found my new spot! Thank you!

Best dentistry service I've ever received. Easy service experience, particularly appointment setting and online new client registration. Comfortable and friendly environment. Also, this practice has clearly invested in the latest imagery technology--much more comfortable, less radiation than your phone, and super informative and helpful analysis of oral health. Dr. Streit is very good at what he does; and his team were great too. Can't recommend them enough.

This place is great. I'm always in and out while I'm there, they never make me wait, and they always do a quick quality job. I originally came here just to get a tooth fixed (my old dentist quoted me a ridiculous price) and now I will be making this place my primary dentist for all of my tooth needs. Not to mention the lady who works the front desks is great!

First things first I hate the dentist. Try to avoid going as much as possible. Dr. Streit makes going to the dentist bearable. Had a broken tooth and he came in during his off hours to fix it for me and I didn't hate it. Appointment was quick and easy. I've been a couple other times for routine stuff and both times were great. His staff is very friendly and Dr. Streit seems like a great guy. He will be my dentist and my families dentist for life.

This clinic deserves more than five stars.
I have been a patient of this clinic since childhood. Today I had my upper wisdom teeth removed. I decided it was time and that I could stall no longer. As hesitant as I was to have the procedure, I had confidence that Dr. Streit would perform a swift, painless extraction. My two upper wisdom teeth were removed in less than 10 minutes. The preparation was close to painless. My total discomfort was 2/10. I am extremely impressed with both his technique and professionalism.
I will recommend his practice to anyone and everyone. I am Dr. Streit's patient

Went to Dr Streit for a year and a half until moving! He is a great dentist. Really easy to talk to and does amazing work. I had some problems after getting my wisdom teeth out and he stayed late so that I could get in there and he could help me! I wish I lived closer and still could be seeing him. Everyone in the office is happy and fun people!

Dr Albert & Team at Distinctive Dentistry are world class.... And I have been to quite a few dentists in the Greater Seattle area and Los Angeles.
I came back from a 6 month+ backpacking trip to Panama with a chunk of of a tooth missing. Bit into some hard chocolate and it fell out.
The rest of my family already sees Dr Albert already and they recommended I go there.
Ended up needing a root canal done (sigh!), but the pain was so bad that it needed to happen same day. They got me squeezed onto the books with a fantastic Endodontist in town who performed the work... and then I came in to
