For the freshest fish in Colorado, outside of a lake or stream, look no further than Fish N Beer, a Denver seafood restaurant that offers this coastally-challenged area fresh oysters, wood-grilled fish and an eclectic selection of draft beers in a chill, industrial-modern space. Our certified beer specialist shares the same passion for our beer selection.
We have 16 beers on tap to showcase the flavor profiles that enhance our fish. Things change in the beer world as often as they do in the ocean, so don't expect to see the same lineup week to week. We also craft a mean cocktail and provide a small but well-balanced wine list featuring some local favorites as well.

There are privileges to going out.one of those is the Fish N Beer menu in all of it's full glory! Fresh fish and raw or grilled oysters and a killer creative cocktail selection. West Coast oysters have what most would describe as a "melon" or "cucumber" note accenting their mild sweet and salty presence.

A big thanks to Westword for naming us one of Denver's best 100 restaurants for 2020. They get it-a small, cozy space with a team that focuses on the smallest details makes for a crazy good experience.

Holy smokes, Fish N Beer is exceptional. After years of wanting to try it, the lady and I dined in for our anniversary last weekend. Dinner fantastic, service top notch, vibes on point.
They're only open for dinner, so making a rezzy is the move. The small oyster bar reminded me of dining in Charleston or great seafood places in the Northeast. Lots of action, lots of movement, lots of energy when you walk in.
The menu is concise. Wood fired oysters, specialty seafood entrées and "Denver's best key lime pie." Hence the name, you'll find a high quality tap list, cocktails

The food here is superb, and the ambiance is welcoming and cool. The char-grilled oysters were perfectly done, and still juicy and flavorful. Chips 'n guac from the sea (seared tuna) was very tasty and the house made chips were fresh. Finally, the chowder is to die for - thick and filling, perfectly flavored, to the point that no hot sauce was even needed. Drink-wise, the Paloma was great - not to sweet and not too bitter. We got so full on appetizers, that we're saving entrees for the next visit - can't wait.

I was disappointed after trying this spot out. Reservations are a little tricky to get, and you have to put a $50 deposit down per person that is non-refundable if you no-show. Very strange and strict policy in my opinion. Also, when you arrive they outright say you have a 1.5 hour window and have to leave after that.
Oysters were fresh, cocktail was great. The decor and atmosphere were very fun. Service was outstanding. The flavors of the food were very good, however, both my husbands and my main dish were cooked improperly (salmon was over, and his bass was way under. We asked about the

On my last night in Denver, I was able to finally get a great meal in Denver. We were able to get a walk-in table after a 35 minute wait. There wasn't a bar in the restaurant but there was one catty corner that we could wait in. Without a reservation, we were super thankful to even get one of those small tables up front.
Our waiter was quick and friendly even when he had to tell us that they were out of their Fish and Chips. I was really hungry. I got the Mussels, Caesar Salad, and the Salmon with Gnocchi. Everything tasted good. The fish was cooked perfectly, which to means not overcooked

Great food, great ambiance!! Trendy yet warm and inviting. You can see the fish cooking over a wood fire right when you walk in.
Some notes to future patrons: Aside from the stellar playlist, there does not appear to be any relation between this and the more poultry centric joint in Atlanta. Also, it’s called Fish N Beer, not Fish N Cocktails, so stick to beer. Our two cocktails were bourbon based and mezcal based, and advertised as not too sweet and not too sour. They came out way too sweet and with way too much lime.
Eating: Alamosa Bass. Simply put, I loved every part of this dish. Beautifully

Awesome spot! Tiny dining room so keep that in mind, but totally worth it if you have to wait. Seafood can be tricky in a landlocked state but these guys nail it! Got here for happy hour and the oysters (pictured, both raw and grilled) were the best I've had in Colorado. Fish and chips (not pictured because I ate it too fast) were solid, but the fish was a little on the salty side. Service was impeccable as well, everyone is very friendly and on point. Highly recommend this place if you like seafood! I will certainly be back for more oysters and to try the rest of the menu.

Went back last night and had the lobster Mac and fish n chips ( didn’t take photos cuz we ate so fast) so delicious our server Scott was amazing attentive and fun! All the servers / hostess are great very good service and friendly. The kitchen staff are so interactive. I love to dance with them and they are honestly “My Peoples” like it’s just something I can’t explain the connection I have with them and their culture their music

Just happened to come across this place when exploring downtown, and very glad we did! I got a shrimp po-boy which was awesome, and my buddy said her Salmon was great too. The waitress we had was extra awesome and told us some good places to go in Denver during our stay there. Would come back when in the area again!

Hands down one of my FAVORITE meals I've had since living in Denver for 2+ years. The whole Sea Bass is LEGIT! Perfectly balanced, the Brussels and crispy potatoes were top notch and the broth from order of muscles we started out with could be a soup it was so good. Definitely coming by back. Definitely being friends and family here.

Fish N Beer is a very good seafood place in Denver. My wife and I shared some grilled oysters and coal roasted mussels to start. The oysters were done with butter and garlic, the mussels were served in a tomato and beer broth, and both were excellent.
I had a scallop jambalaya and my wife had salmon with gnocchi and mushrooms in a light cream sauce. The salmon dish was perfect, with a crispy seared outside. The gnocchi was also perfectly seared and delicious.
For dessert we shared a slice of fantastic key lime pie. The pie to whipped cream ratio was a bit overkill, but I just took

Was one of my favorite spots in Denver before, and I was looking to try it again after their re opening. I was not disappointed at all. Good quality of seafood and drinks. Also, I was happy to find on the menu the whole grilled Alamosa bass, which to me is a nice memory of home in Italy. Smoked mussels amazing and thw broth definitely required a generous portion of their bread. Special mention to the staff which is always at the top. Especially our server. If we weren't told she was in training, i would't have told. Kudos!

Stumbled upon Fish N Beer after getting recommendations from a local- what a great spot! The restaurant is in a prime location if you want to grab a cocktail after (which we did!).
We kicked off the meal with the Chips N Guacamole from the Sea, Calamari, a few oysters, and a round of cocktails. I've had my fair share of margaritas and really enjoyed this one! The Chips N Guacamole and oysters are a must try.
For dinner I ordered the Fish and Chips. Both the fries and fish were very flavorful but tasted a lil salty. Nothing that couldn't be resolved by dunking it in tartar sauce. They

I love this place! It is pretty far from us and in a very unassuming area in RiNo but we went there for a special occasion. I love the vibe inside - it's cosy and quaint, nothing pretentious. The food is prepared right in front of you.
I am a huge seafood lover and this place did not disappoint. The chargrilled oysters are to die for and we also got a mix of raw East and West coast. The seafood is super fresh, especially for being in a landlocked state. I ordered the whole sea bass, which came out as a full filet and had a lot of bones in it, but what can ya do, it still had good flavor

Cute little place with seating outside both in front and in back of building as well as inside! We started with with calamari appetizer and honestly it was just okay. I thought it was overcooked as it was little chewy. It is served with homemade sauce too which was good but spicy. 2 of us ordered the Scottish salmon with gnocchi and shrooms. And sautéed kale. It was tasty. I don't often order salmon at a restaurant bc it is so easy to make at home but it was really the only thing that spoke to me on their menu. My son in law raved about his fish and chips which were served with a little beer

This was my meal of the month! The manager, servers and kitchen staff were all top notch and made this not only a delicious meal but a super fun one. The music they were playing was baller. Every song was my jam!
My friend and I decided to spilt a bottle of champs to wash down our garlic oysters. The oysters were flame grilled and by far the best thing I've ever eaten. They were so good that we ordered more.
The salmon with gnocchi was perfect and the lobster roll with brown butter was absolutely amazing. We capped it off by trying the homemade key lime pie. Can I just say again. This place

Came here for Tuesday night all night happy hour -- which was amazing. Quickly jumped into my favorite happy hours in Denver. Wish they had the regular menu that day as well and just shorter happy hours all week -- but it doesn't make the food and drinks any less awesome.
Great service and fun vibe. Reminds me of an easy coast crab shack. Fantastic happy hour oysters for $2 -- or $2.50 for grilled ones with devil butter. Also a must is the guacamole and seared tuna appetizer (yes I know, it sounds weird at first, but it's fantastic). So is the Maryland-style crab dip. The most interesting

Just finished our meal at Fish "N Beer. Amazing. There really are seafood restaurants that are not part of chains in the landlocked City of Denver.
Started with grilled oysters. They even have west coast AND east coaster oysters. The kind of wonderful that makes one slurp every bit of those juices in the half shell. Then moved on to a calamari dish that was equal to the oysters. Very light breading with wonderful dipping sauces. Yum.
Husband & I shared a lobster in brown butter sandwich. Perfectly prepared, extra butter on the side, along with tasty cole slaw and fries. Yes

I can't believe Fish N Beer is just around the corner from my gym!! I made reservations at the tent across the street, but my friends and I were able to get a table on the back patio. The table was wobbly, but the ambiance was cute and the customer service was phenomenal. Despite COVID, it was busy but still complied with any guidelines.
We started with a round of drinks after scanning the menu via QR code. Two members of our party are gluten-free, and our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate them. I was impressed. For food, we shared oysters, mussels, and shrimp, then each got our
