Live locally wanted to try out a new spot. Did a quick Google search Breezeway Restraunt was one of the first to pop up. The food was disappointing, frozen store bough shrimp, clams and probably other stuff as well. The chicken was dry, overcooked and over seasoned. Unfortunately we will not be returning. For our bill was $61 for frozen seafood and over cooked chicken. The one star rating we are providing goes toward the server. Thank you for being nice.

Good local seafood, good service and reasonable prices. We also didn't have a wait and they had a good selection. I really liked the warm crab dip with the bread points. I even ate my leftovers for breakfast the next morning!

The Breezeway Restaurant is my local favorite. I’ve been coming here for years. You really can’t beat the hospitality and of course the FOOD! I had scallops, Mahi-mahi, shrimp, and crab. All absolutely delicious with a loaded baked potato. All fresh and delicious. Service with a smile. Thanks for a great meal guys!

There is a reason this place is on a lot of people’s must-visit list every time they go to Topsail. Beautiful view, good food and really excellent service. It’s such an efficiently run restaurant. The crew handling takeout orders in the front have a really smooth operation, too. We ate in the restaurant once and did takeout once during this past trip and I can’t rave enough about the staff. Holiday weekend, lots of orders, busy restaurant and they didn’t miss a beat. I miss the crab dip but we brought home some hush puppy mix to tide us over until next time.

The food was average. The atmosphere has aged to the point that it's charm has past its time. We shared a dish and they charged us a $3 fee. Desert prices are over the top charging 4 star eatery prices. Crab dip was the worst i have ever seen. Main dishes were ok but nothing to come back for. Hush puppies are good. Time to up your game a bit.

NO COVID-19 PROTOCOL IN PLACE.
Hidden away from main road, this restaurant was recommended by our acquaintance for good seafood.
Unless you live near by or staying at motel near it, parking is slim picking here, with just 4-5 spots.
When we got in, it wasn't too crowded with just @4-5 tables occupied.
By the time our acquaintances arrived few minutes later, people started to show up for dinner.
We placed our orders and took quite some time before food arrived.
They were pricey but, where isn't any more now days. Wife and I paid $40 with sodas, I guess it's not too bad.

Went here last night after a day trip to Topsail. We were kind of nervous because of the bad reviews recently but decided to give it a try. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews recently. The food was great and so was the service. We got there around 5:15 which seemed to be the sweet spot before it got busy. We only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Waited an hour for our food which is normal for how busy they were. The hush puppies were amazing! I had the fried flounder and shrimp plate which was delicious. We definitely will be coming back here to try some of their other options

Ordered food to go. Man who took order was very knowledgeable and kind. Food was a huge disappointment other than the salad (it was huge). Scallop appetizer was $12 and included five TINY scallops - undercooked as well. A joke. Kid shrimp included 8 shrimp of varying size and about 10 fries. Burger was good but didn't have many fries. Crab cake was blah. Would not recommend.

The open family style dining room took me back to the seafood restaurants of the 1970's & 80's. Service was excellent. The golden brown shrimp and oysters were perfectly cooked. The plate appeared to be small at the beginning of our meal, however the quality of what was on the plate was very filling.

This restaurant is what I would call a typical southern fish camp. It is not upscale but is clean. The furnishings are dated but that doesn't impact he quality of the food. All their fried food is fish camp quality. I find them a little pricey but you have to compare to what else is available here. The food came hot and fast. I ended up ordering the three seafood platter and chose flounder, scallops, shrimp (picture attached). The standard beer selection is available and is 4 bucks. No issues with any of the food but how hard is frying everything. I rate this a three as there are better fish camp
