Great little spot only a few minute walk to the beach that offers a variety of fresh seafood options. The waitress was very nice and accommodating and it was a perfect day to dine outside.
I ordered the fried fish platter. I was impressed with the freshness of the shrimp and the amount of batter on them. The coleslaw and tarter sauce both lacked flavor but the cocktail sauce was delicious and had a nice bite to it. I would order it again if I went back and think it's a great spot for people who like fried seafood and want something less expensive but still just as tasty.

Tasty, fresh seafood. South Beach Grill has plenty of shaded outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoor weather in the warmer months. I ordered the flounder platter with fries. The fries were light and crispy and the accompanying tartar sauce had a lovely garlic flavor. The flounder was clearly quite fresh and was some of the flakiest fish that I have eaten. I would definitely recommend South Beach Grill.

Cute and delicious! We ordered the seafood nachos, Linda's grouper and sweet potato flounder all were excellent! We should have ordered two servings of the seafood nachos! Location was good wish it was on the water instead of the main road. Service was good, didn't get his name but he was attentive and made good recommendations!

- One of very few restaurants this close to the beach with free customer parking.
- Food was great
- Service was great
- Lots of outdoor seating
- Entire staff always wore a face mask over their nose
- Outdoor seating is fully covered
- Environment was wonderful
- Nice seating furniture. Many places on the beach have cheap worn out chairs. Not this place.

We've visited Wrightsville Beach many times but never tried this place and turns out, we've been missing out! Absolutely delicious!! The cornbread that comes with the table is the best cornbread I've ever tasted! Hot, moist and sweet topped with softened butter. Yum!! My husband had the fried pickles as an appetizer and I had the Napoleon which was 2 friend tomatoes with crab meat and shrimp topped with a creamy sauce. Amazing! For entrees I had the shrimp and grits which was served with a huge hunk of grit cake...delicious! My husband had the fried shrimp platter. He's picky

Giving them three stars opposed to one since a manager made it right and did not charge me for the meal.
Not worthy of the $30 price tag however there was a large banner outside that said “hiring culinary professionals”.
Atlantic scallops. Looks pretty but lacks flavor!
1. Small pieces of pork belly that were fried to a crisp and tasted like charcoal.
2. Zero seasoning on the scallops and corn
3. Cold cherry tomatoes were placed in the middle of what should be a warm dish.

This had to be some of the worst customer service and awful management! Apparently you only get top service there if you have a REserVaTiOn **okay***
Also don't even bother the food is mediocre and you can get the same plate at a Libby hill or captain toms! They made it known that they DON'T serve people like us whatever that means but no worries we will not ever come back. Sadly even when you let management know about the poor service they back it up by saying they are busy even when other people will sit down after you and get their food promptly. Be prepared to ask for everything

This quaint little restaurant is a gem. The location is a little challenging for parking so be patient, because the food and service is worth it!
Some of the best food I had in the week I spent on Wrightsville Beach.
The price is fair. I would encourage everyone to give South Beach Grill a try. Highly recommended!
One final note! The staff is amazing.

First time eating here, went on a Sunday afternoon around noon. Waitress was very friendly. Place was packed by 12:30. We had the black eyed peas and candy bacon for an app. The Sweet tea was very good. For lunch, Two fish tacos, one seafood platter with shrimp & oysters and the Mason burger.
