Joe was 18 years old when he purchased his first renovation project. Tom was working in landscaping at the time when they decided they would go into business together. Housing Hub was created! Joe & Tom officially went into business together. They were managing their own properties already and they wanted to help other investors who needed their properties managed as well.
A comparative market analysis is an examination of the prices at which similar properties in the same area. Our agents perform a 'CMA' for our clients to help them determine a price when renting or listing when selling a home or a price to offer when buying a home. After CMA & RPA reports are complete, one of our leasing agents will take a guided tour of your property.
The first step in any successful investment property is having your finger on the pulse of the current rental market. Your listing will be on our website, which receives over 600 individual visits per day as well as on 150+ real estate websites. We also have many types of branded vehicles, leasing signage, and advertisements all over the Twin Cities.
Our owners receive a monthly newsletter with insider information for buying and selling properties within our sphere. Buying, selling, & investing with Housing Hub is your one stop shop. Because we do traditional Real Estate as well as Property Management in Minnesota and Wisconsin, this eliminates transitioning property management companies with your tenants.
Whether you are trying to find a new apartment or pay your rent, this is the right page for you. Are you a new applicant or did your landlord recently hire Housing Hub to manage their property?. I lived in a property managed by housing Hub for 3 years, well the property itself had its own ups and downs. Housing Hub did a great job managing everything I really appreciated how Housing Hub reported all of my monthly on-time payments to the credit bureau and always very responsive when I submitted any work orders. and when I moved out I left the place clean and in good condition and I received my full deposit back, so I was grateful for that because I had heard horror stories about Housing Hub and moveouts but I had a good experience when I cut ties with Housing Hub and the property I was

Run far away!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My roommate and I lived in a four-unit building for two years and it was, by far, the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. There were mostly issues with maintenance/upkeep of the place. Here’s what we experienced:
1. We had mice and all maintenance did was put down some poison packs that did nothing. I had to buy my own traps in order to quell the problem.
2. The heat in our unit was VERY broken- my bedroom was like a sauna while my roommate’s bedroom was always freezing. When we contacted maintenance all they did was adjust the thermostats

Careful if you move to a Housing Hub property. When you move they charge for any little thing they can get their hands on- wear and tear items are all up for grabs. If you don’t go to court to challenge them they will end up charging a a 30% upcharge for a scratch on a wall or a burned out light bulb, and anything and everything else you can imagine. Real or otherwise. They are crooks. Take pictures of the condition and challenge their dispositions because that is how they make their money. And to the owners who use them for management- they don't pass their exorbitant prices along to the people

My maintenance issue was responded to in a timely manner. Andy W. was persistent in his efforts to contact me which is no easy feat. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to mess with the smoke detector, which wouldn't stop beeping. With Andy W's help I removed the unit and replaced the battery and saved him a needless trip. All is now 😊 quiet. Thank you Andy.

This house was the worst apt ever. I found 5 mice for three days in my home. It was very shocked for me and I claimed the office but the staff told me that happens normally. The heating system was down in the mid of winter and the water stopped. I really disappointed and never recommend living home from this company.

The website was great for searching for apartments. I used all kinds of websites and now I tell all my friends to go straight to housing hubs site and search from there. Everyone I worked with was very professional and responsive to any questions or needs I had. My leasing agent Holly was great! And the office people (specifically Lisakay) were really nice and easy to work with. Probably the easiest and smoothest renting process I've ever been through. I did a walk through with the leasing agent and the apartment was in perfect condition and very clean. I would highly recommend using housing hub

Never Rent from Housing Hub. Horrible.
There are literally so many things wrong
Needed a part 2.
The leasing agent lied about utility costs at move-in.”About $100 in the winter months for electric, Closer to $250-$300 a month I found out from other tenants this was normal for them to lie.My baseboard heating system was so old I did not have sufficient heat October- February, but still paid extreme prices. I got smart about zone heating and did have to buy a pretty pricey space heater- the wind would still blow through the windows and the plastic and the drapes during the winter. Even with

This company is horrible.
They took over our property and wanted to charge $200 to make any changes to a lease.
We called them to repair a broken outlet, they came out, broke the outlet even more, left it hanging out of the wall with all the screws stripped and drywall crumbled all over the floor, then left it and signed off that the job was done.
They also told us we needed to re-sign our lease 60 days before the end of our current lease, and we are now less than a week away from our lease ending and still haven't received it. I've called 8+ times over the last 2 months asking

I have yet to find a worse rental management company than Housing Hub. I previously dealt with a rental company that wouldn’t break a lease after my partner passed away, and Housing Hub is still worse than them.
The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. It took me 7 months trying to get them to trim a tree branch smacking into my chimney all hours of the day. Never came out and eventually canceled the request “because covid” not even acknowledging the request being sent in months before the outbreak. My second service request was a broken dryer. Their solution was to give me a second

I recently hired Chance DeHaven/Housing Hub MN to help me list and find new tenants for my recently renovated duplex in St. Paul. As a seasoned investment-property owner, I've been pleasantly surprised thus far in their overall process and assistance, especially given a few of the previous reviews I've read. In particular, Chance did a great job of communicating with me on a regular basis during the listing process and was able to quickly run the 'proper' background and financial requirements to secure very high-end tenants on not only a 1-yr lease agreement, but also on a

I have lived in a housing hub managed apartment on 3rd st for six months. in the first month i have lived here the power to my apartment went out at least five time. since than it has gone out at least another six times. The front door to my apartment leads outside and like the windows is at least 50 years old and are horribly drafty, and doesn't block much outside noise. they charged me $75 for maintenance because the they had to come out to fix something on a Saturday. they will charge you extra every month for trash service and in January they charge a $100 fee.

Two hours after moving in, my dog broke out into hives and had to be rushed to the animal hospital as his face broke out so bad it was bleeding. First round of antibiotics were administered on move-in day. A friend of mine also broke out into hives covering her whole body and has not been over since.
A few days after that, I noticed a few leaks in my unit. I put in a maintenance request right away. They claimed they fixed the issue. A few weeks after that I put in another request because the pipes were still leaking. Over six months went by and just now did they actually fix the plumbing issues

I am currently searching for a new apartment, and I stumbled upon Housing Hub on craigslist, so I called the phone number(s) listed. I left three messages, which were never returned. Bad sign. I finally reach Jill, who seems to have many properties - that seem to be older, less well-kept complexes posted on craigslist. The rental pricing on the property management /apartment complex web sites differ greatly. I found three apartments' that advertises rents over $120 more by the agent as advertised on craigslist. The complex listed the rent significantly less than what this agent had posted

This place is pretty terrible . Not only did they put me into a situation where an incorrect background check forced me to move away from the area I'm in, I couldn't get an answer from the agent who contacted me originally . Beware of a guy namedThomas, he will tell you anything to pay that 45 dollar app fee then not write you back when you have questions . I literally had to talk to the vp himself to get any kind of information at all . Then he threatened me , saying I would be in trouble leagaly if I shared this terrible experience with others . Oh dear Vice President, this is America

I recently purchased my second rental property in the Minneapolis area, and I had Housing Hub help me from start to finish, this included finding a home, buying it, remodeling, landscaping, cleaning, literally within weeks. These guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Chris and his team are just outstanding. I live full time in California and to have this company support my business gives me so much solace and I know I'm in good hands. They do everything and with a smile. I highly recommend them and look forward to building a business relationship with them in the years to come! You guys are the best

DO NOT RENT FROM HOUSING HUB!!They are so rude especially Laurie and Olivia! They are charging us $110 to take down and put back together a ceiling fan with absolutely nothing wrong with it oh and also changing light bulbs. Yup that's $110 to check out a ceiling fan that had nothing needing repairs. All they did was check the wires determined they were fine then put the fan back up. When I called to inquire about this first I had to deal with Olivia. She is seriously the rudest person I have ever talked to over the phone. Every time she answers the phone she always acts extremely rude. Olivia
