Gino and Antonella are the proud owners of La Cucina (the Kitchen) Italian Restaurant located in beautiful, downtown Havre de Grace, Maryland. They have raised two sons and a daughter here, Niki, Maico, and Rosanna, all of whom have graduated locally from Havre de Grace High. Gino was the first to arrive from Italy in 1978 after being raised in a beautiful coastal town near Naples, Italy named Monte di Procida.

Outstanding, freshly prepared authentic Italian cuisine and a raw bar! None of those bastardized American versions of Italian food. They really excel in their Italian seafood dishes. Don't the sit down hoagie shop atmosphere fool you. The servers are friendly and informed. And, La Cucina's flavors are what matters and will win your tastebuds over! Trust me.

We will not be back. I think the kitchen or server forgot about us. It took a long time for the food to arrive, and my husband ordered expensive surf & turf which had to be sent back b/c the steak came out rare instead of medium well. And it was already a long wait. The lobster did not come with drawn butter, and the waiter forgot our bread- I actually had to ask for the bread after our long awaited food finally arrived.

Very Nasty 🤢 Pizza was watery, with toppings thrown on top and not cooked, with alot of garlic and pepper. I also ordered a lasagna which was a big piece of ravioli that was also watery, Garlic Bread?? No Garlic smh.
Ignorant and disrespectful when I called to let then know how my food was made. I wouldn't feed my kids that food the way it was made and I'm sure that some Italians would find it a disgrace and disrespectful the way it was made! I'm not even trying to give them 1 ⭐ So thank Google for at least acknowledging your business. I wouldn't eat there. I rather eat jail food instead

Came here for Valentines dinner. Place was crowded with very little social distancing. Ordered white pizza, which was delicious, scrimp scampi which consisted of a plate of watery noodles with 6 shrimp. Not much flavor at all. Waitress was pleasant, but about halfway through our meal a cockroach showed up. crawling along the ledge. We discreetly signaled to a waitress, who quickly snatched him up in a napkin and wisked him away. Another lady ( I'm guessing an owner) came over to oplogize explaining that they have exterminators monthly , and it was most likely customers bringing the roaches in.

FABULOUS RESTAURANT!!! Our new favorite place to go and it is an hour away. This is a family owned business and the family was so friendly and inviting. We had Rosanna as our waitress and she was the best, stayed on top of everything we needed and a pleasant, friendly and fun attitude. The meal was OUTRAGEOUS !! We had seafood Fra Davolo and it was out of this world!! We can't wait to go back and try something else (we even took lasagna to go ). Great job -great meeting you and you have a very clean restaurant!! These pics are the actual meal !!!
