The Therapydia team took care of me quickly. They make sure everyone's following CDC guidelines for safety and cleanliness. JoAnne is a miracle worker with my hip and the dry needle work made all the difference in the world. I am back to a 100% in a short time and back to doing what I used to do.
Thanks again for making it easy to get back to being me again. You are my front line first responders.

Im a very active person, and Therapydia is my trusted source for getting healthy again and back to activity as soon as it’s safe. From a ski-induced knee injury to a shoulder injury from a bike crash, they’ve got me covered. Joanne and her team are incredibly professional, talented and care deeply about their patients. This is the only place I’ll go.

Many doctors provide dry needling as a service, very few are any good at it - however Dr. Joanne Gribler is EXCEPTIONAL at it. She not only is experienced and knowledgable, but most importantly she delivers results. I can only speak to this particular treatment, but will say that if you are in pain, are discouraged and searching for a competent doctor, I urge you to make an appointment.

Therapydia DC is the best! I am amazed by the friendliness and competence of the entire staff. I have been treated by Dr. Marylyn Presutti and she teaches me something new and helpful each time I visit. It is a relief to experience such high-quality, evidence-based treatment for my plantar fasciitis. The office is also extremely clean and everyone follows COVID safety protocols. Thank you, Therapydia, for being a bright spot in a challenging year!

I sprained my ankle quite severely in June 2019 and came across Therapydia to rehabilitate my ankle with Robert. After 12 weeks of treatment with Robert, my ankle is completely recovered and it has never felt better!! I am so happy that I finally seeked PT for my ankle given that I have sprained so many times in the past. I am so relieved that I can go back to my normal routine and take on new challenges during workouts. I highly recommend Therapydia!

Actually, if i could rate it to zero, I would! PLEASE DONOT GO there!!! I had a very frustrating experience with Thyrapydia after almost 5 months of treatment and intense sessions and major insurance and coverage issue. This is the worst PT service in Washington DC by far, i can certainly say that after trying another PT center. I had an injury in my left knee and was referred to them by my primary care. My therapist was Robert Rogacki, I was not feeling better with the treatment and started feeling pain in my other knee. Later, I had more injuries in my ankle and it was not explainable and i

I have been with the PT for two weeks. I have already felt improvement in my back pain. my therapist Jane is very helpful and I look forward to continuing to see continuous relief of my back pain in the following weeks.
The front desk is also very helpful and friendly. I don't need to wait every time I come in and they are very punctual. That gives me a lot of predictability for me to manage my time schedule.

Dr. Pittman is a teacher first and foremost. If you have any questions about what she is doing/what is going on, she will explain it to you in a way that is accessible to the typical human.
She is also a great listener as her physical therapy sessions end up becoming mental therapy sessions.
Tasha is also deserving of praise as she is always in a good mood and ready to assist whenever I call.

I sprained my ankle playing soccer in early June and thought I could RICE and tough it out and it'd go away. That was not quite the case after a week, and putting any sort of weight on my left ankle (including escaping from the dungeon known as Farragut West metro escalator) was very painful. Like most regular folks, I yelp'ed for a place close to work and found Therapydia. Jane was my PT and she was great and very attentive. Over the next 7 weeks or so we did a series of PT exercises and by the end of the summer, I was able to squat and run again. Bonus: the front desk was also great

Jane clearly knows what she is doing but she was also a bit curt and patronizing. I learned good things from her but was looking for a bit friendlier delivery.
Primary complaint is the space is run down and poorly arranged. Right when you walk in there are scuff marks on the walls. The therapy space itself is tiny, with hardly any equipment, and awful acoustics. All the therapists and patients are packed together in one room, making the din unpleasant.

*Update*
Needless to say I was I surprised when I got a call from the office manager to come in for another running analysis, so I did.
This was a completely different experience (in a good way) Not sure if they were being extra attentive so my review would change or if this is just how the different PT operated (either way is fine by me). This Running analysis was way more hands on and informative than the first time, so I am a happy patient.
The PT I worked with this time was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, I got to actually see the video of me running so I could better

I've seen Joanne for my lower back and knee, and she is incredible! So knowledgable and kind. Everyone at the clinic is friendly and accommodating. They will try their best to help you find an appointment based on your schedule. I moved recently to the area in July, and this clinic was quick to schedule an appointment to fix my back before starting my career as a nurse! Joanne also helped in showing me techniques to prevent injuring my back throughout my shifts which was very helpful because she has had experiences in the Neuro ICU and first handily has seen the stress nurses put on themselves

I went here for 2-3 weeks and was highly disappointed.
Lack of professionalism - The physical therapist I was working with is quite young; however, she just flat out did not like me for some reason. I would see how she engages other patients, but, for me, not so much as a how was your day. That's fine, as long she gets the job done, but she she couldn't even do that.
I probably spent around 20-25 minutes in each session. 1/2 the time she was on the computer while I was doing exercises. She wouldn't take into consideration anything that I would tell her. Worst muscle/trigger

I've been seeing Tim (Dr. Vidale) since August 2016, and I'm grateful for each session and the progress he's helped me make. Highly recommend Tim!
I came in with a whole lot of issues - from neck and lower pain to frequent headaches to foot injuries keeping me from running again. Tim took the time needed to give me a thorough assessment to chart my future care. He makes sure to adjust the plan as things change (e.g. painfree in an area or new pain in another area). Tim has a gift for understanding how pain in one part of the body can be caused by pain, tightness, or another issue

Jane is the best therapist I've had in my life. I went for TMJ and migranes and my life is transformed. I was taking medication everyday to deal with my pain but that has significantly reduced with this treatment. She has changed my chronic pain in 8 weeks from almost unbearable to extremely livable and manageable for my life. Along with being effective at her work, she's personable and enjoyable to talk to while receiving treatment.
Everyone there is extremely professional and it's a great, friendly office. I've worked with other therapists
In fact, I look forward to every

I was only seen for ~20 minutes of my 30 min appointment. Always late with other patients or not. Would always turn on TV to watch football stuff and talk to others. I had to pay $150 for each lousy treatment! Treatment did nothing for me. Waste of time, money and effort! Told me I was healed! Now I am seeing a real, helpful and tentative physical therapist.
Front desk person was very nice and Dr Nelson seemed to be more professional.
Not sure why the good reviews!

This place is thebomb.com! I came into Therapydia barely walking. I have a chronic illness and was almost immobile. My knee swelled and I could not bend it, my back/chest was spasming and painful, but after physical therapy, I was able to bend my knee and the pain subsided. I WAS AMAZED! I have been coming into Therapydia twice a week now and it is the therapy that keeps me in motion. My therapy rotates between my elbow, my knees and my back/chest. The office staff is professional, courteous and intelligent. After a LONG day at work, I look forward to relaxing with therapy here. Dr. Vidale
