Tucked into a wooded, gently sloping alcove on Research Drive, Scarborough Place is a haven of serenity located in the midst of a bustling college town. We are within easy walking distance of international restaurants and cafes, shops and major grocery stores, and a slightly longer walk to the University of Georgia and Sanford Stadium, movie theaters and downtown Athens.
My husband and I lived here for four years and it was by far the best Athens living experience we had. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Scarborough does not cater only to students and is a great place for recent grads or other non-students. Very pet-friendly community. The management and maintenance staff are the best!

There's no place like Scarborough. Seriously. Low-maintenance, low cost, good solid homes. Brooke is a great landlord and as I look in Atlanta, I'm quickly finding out how lucky I've been to have rented from her these past three years. Scarb is not really a student complex, it's much quieter - if you, like myself, are a student looking to get away from the pointless "amenities" and find a good home at a decent price, stop looking. This is it. I don't think I will ever find such a good place to live. Great location too! In the spirit of fairness, we did have a bit of a roach/scorpion issue at first

Have lived here for 7 years and Mother for 8. Have never considered moving, not even once. Have had no issues and all maintenance requests have always been taken care of promptly. There's a reason this complex has such low turnover. I do wish the pool would open earlier, but that's my only 'complaint' and it's not even that.
