I am really upset that no one told us Grace Chu, the patient we were visiting, had Covid! This is, in my estimation, a criminal failure on your part. We were tested for Co vid at the door. On the second floor, we were told Grace had been moved and we were told we had to wear gowns BUT WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT GRACE HAD COVID. After our visit with Grace, we spoke to a person on the ground floor (in the exercise area) who told us that Grace had Covid.

I am shocked at the lack of care at Woodcrest. They misplaced my mother’s personal items & blamed her for not labeling them with her name. Only after 10 days did they bring a basin so she could wash herself. Just 1 towel for a week, & I got in trouble from the staff for taking a couple more from the cart (she took them back from me). Meds are not given in a timely manner & need to be requested multiple times. Terrible place, do not send anyone here!!

It’s not easy to rave about a long term care at a nursing home, especially during a global pandemic, but I was extremely fortunate to get my father accepted at Woodcrest as the restrictions started to lift snd I am so grateful to the entire facility and its staff for it efficacious transfer and his care. My father is “blossoming” with attention, PT, good food, activities after two years of semi neglect which was common at most nursing homes during the pandemic. Thank you to every staffer at Woodcrest.

I give credit where credit is due. My mother has been in Woodcrest for a few years now. Like in every place you have great staff and the not so great staff. However, in our case I have to say I have had a great experience. My mother is well taken cared off, liked and I am always informed of any concerns right away.
A special thanks to Naomi, Peaches, Maeti, Emma and the list goes on.
