Edit (1day later): I wrote to the restaurant, and had an honest conversation with the manager, and sorted out the issue.
Virindhu, like many other small business had a hard time during the pandemic. It’s refreshing to see an responsive and optimistic management team.
Everyone has an occasional bad day at work, maybe yesterday was theirs. I wish them them the best, and will definitely come back to try their food again.

I’ve been a long time visitor of Virindhu and used to love their food. Sad to see the quality has gone absolutely south. The worst from our dinner today was the

First time in Portland I am able to give a 5 star rating to an Indian restaurant. Been their 8-9 times and the service is amazing, the food seems to get more delicious every time. Try the omelettes, ghee roast dosa and green lentil vadas. Absolutely Delicious. The lunch menu is really nice and filling as well. So happy to have a good place to eat South Indian food. The best so far in Portland Metro area.

We ordered couple of dishes in non-veg & Veg . Mutton, Fish & Chicken was good. I will give one point extra to mutton. It was dry mutton dish really good. Food which we ordered was not that chili spicy, which I like. Veg dishes were OK, some of my veg friends were not that happy . I did tasted sambar , it was just OK. but something called kothu parantha was good. I love non-veg I was happy with food and service. once suggestion, If they serve all the ordered food in one go and everyone on table can eat at one time.

A new place to try out some delicious south indian food. I started off with the paaya soup, which was delicious to kick start off the course with. Ordered egg biryani, chicken kotthu paratha and chicken curry with garlic naan. Chicken kothu paratha was excellent, had a wonderful blend of spices. Chicken curry was okay and the garlic naan was pretty small for the price paid.
Overall a good place to have some great food. But i would stick to the paratha and tiffins menu.

I was excited to try this place since there aren't many South Indian restaurants in Hillsboro. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but my dining experience was mediocre. We ordered goat bone soup , vegetable kothu paratta and chicken dosa. Goat bone was excellent and very authentic . However the other 2 dishes were lacking in taste and not well seasoned . Carlos was our waiter and service was great and attentive.
I plan to dine in here one more time to sample other items on the menu since it's so hard to find South Indian delicacy's around the area
