Moving from out of state I but way too much faith in the inspection company. While they mentioned several issues with the home they neglected the cracks in the brick, evidence of flooding and major termite damage. You can get a refund if you agree to remove a negative review but you are still stuck with a house that you would not of purchased. The inspection was not completed in the best interest of the customer.

I'm glad to say it has been 23 years since I needed to deal with a home inspector. My experiences as both a buyer and a seller in the 1990s left me unimpressed.
I watched Christopher Palmer do his thing this morning at the house to which we hope to downsize, and then I read his 60-page report this evening. Color me impressed. Obviously, he turned the report around promptly, but he also essentially furnished a punch list of plumbing, electrical, tile, HVAC and other issues that will need attention if we follow through with the purchase.

Everything about scheduling the inspection was smooth and easy, especially considering short notice the week before Christmas. During the inspection, Eric was awesome. He enjoyed talking about what he was doing and fielding my questions about certain areas of the home. Eric was thorough and didn't try to make up anything. The home was very cluttered and he made sure to let me know there were parts of the inspection that could not be taken care of at the time. He took the time to explain the issues and answery questions. I did not feel rushed and Eric was very polite.

We were able to get the inspection scheduled within days of calling. The home inspection went longer than anticipated and with good reason. The inspector was so incredibly detailed. It was worth every penny and every hour. We were blown away at how professional and thorough, the inspector treated it as if it was his own house. It put us as ease knowing every little thing we’d want to address when purchasing the home as well as being able to prioritize the list. Hands down would highly recommend and use again and again.

Kevin and the team at 840 Inspections were outstanding. We needed a home inspection done, quickly along with a termite clearance letter and Radon test. Blown away isn't hyperbole at all! I was not expecting to not only receive a "paper" inspection, delivered digitally, but also a Youtube video explaining the inspection, pointing out the items needing to be addressed, and even explanations for what could happen if these weren't addressed.
All minor things luckily but just having it explained since I wasn't able to attend was a great touch!

I called early on a Friday and by Tuesday of the following week my inspection was completed. Very efficient staff and thorough in their inspection. The inspector walked us through everything they had found and our report was sent to us electronically within the hour. Our Realtor recommended 840 Inspections to inspect the home we are buying in middle Tennessee. They were on time and very thorough with the home inspection. They offer thermal imaging to check for proper insulation. They also provided a price list estimate for the repairs needed. This was a great negotiation tool and was helpful for us to know how much the repairs would likely cost. After the inspection report we had questions and Kevin was very nice and helpful.
