We chose to get a home inspection for a new construction home done before the first walkthrough. Mr. Chick arrived early, was very courteous, extremely focused on doing a thorough inspection, and very thorough. The report was emailed to us at 5:55 AM the next morning. Home inspection report included standard documentation and terms descriptions.
Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet our inspectors until after you hire us. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work.

We've used this company twice for home inspections and both times they have been responsive, punctual, and professional. The inspector was very detailed and took time to explain a few issues found to us. The turnaround time for both the appointment and report were extremely fast, and the price was affordable. John recently inspected a house we are interested in buying and he did an incredibly thorough job. The report he wrote gave details on even the most minute problems, as well as explained larger issues in a way that we understood. We ended up having a question about something that we had noticed that wasn't on the report. He remembered exactly what we were talking about and explained how it wasn't something to be concerned about other than it being a cosmetic issue. We absolutely recommend him as an inspector and will use him again if needed.
