As a ministry of Leesburg United Methodist Church we have provided a warm, caring and nurturing preschool program for the children of our community for over 40 years. We recognize that children learn best when they are given opportunities to discover, explore and problem solve through direct experience.
We emphasize Christian concepts and a developmental curriculum to enhance physical and intellectual growth and prepare children for Kindergarten. LUMC has long had a heart for early childhood education. During the early 1960's, public kindergarten was not offered in Loudoun County. By 1963 a group of mothers had organized a kindergarten that met in the rooms that now house the church nursery.

Services
Every week the children attend music class with Ms. Heather. In Music Class, the children meet a new Composer each month as well as learning a new music term. Songs taught in Music Class reflect our classroom themes, chapel lessons and seasonal favorites. The children enjoy sharing the songs they learn during Special Chapel each month.
