Services
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The veterinarians and staff at St. Charles Veterinary Clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog, cat or ferret will receive high quality care at our hospital.
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Studies show that up to 70-80% of cats and dogs over the age of 3 have some signs of dental disease. The signs include bad breath, a sore mouth, difficulty eating, bleeding gums, and infections. To clean you pet's teeth we use a modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line.
Blood work is an important part in determining the health of your pet. Whether they may be in for surgery, ill, or elderly, blood work can help provide the next step in caring for your pet. In our lab, we can run chemistry profiles and CBC's (Complete Blood Count) to diagnose many different diseases or infections.
Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you're at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and playtime offered to our longer-term guests. Pets are like our children - we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our facility is climate controlled with heat and air conditioning.

I witnessed someone being their pup in- and it was immediately brought in and taken care of. They had a poison that the pup ingested, and did their research fast.... in minutes!! I do not know how they beautiful baby faired, but I do now they handled it well- and even dealt with this onlooker, only hoping for the best. In rough times (like after a hurricane, when things are tough) people need to appreciate the ones looking out for others. So thank you. I'm glad I've brought one of my 5 babies to you. The rest will see you soon!
