Child's Garden
In our learning center, embracing a family-like atmosphere, every child is encouraged to develop the inner qualities of self-discipline, self-confidence and self-sufficiency as a foundation to holistic learning and development. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time Preschool Programs as well as an Elementary Before and After-Care Program.

Our summer months feature Camp for Preschool and Elementary children. Our program is built on Montessori principles, uses Reggio Emilia theory, and concepts from the Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers. We provide a safe escorted walk to and from Atholton Elementary school, homework time with guidance and support.
Services
The mission of Child's Garden is to provide a world-class preschool and childcare program rich in cutting edge, developmentally appropriate experiences. In addition to the above, our preschool program is committed to delivering the maximum level of kindergarten readiness, social and emotional development as well as gross and fine motor skill activities to prepare children for success when entering elementary school.
Through non-competitive activities we support the child's natural curiosity and creativity. We utilize a variety of art and music as well as Montessori and Reggio Emelia techniques to provide the concrete experiences that are so necessary to learning during early childhood. Our program is built on Montessori principles, uses Reggio Emilia theory, and concepts from the Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers.
We provide a safe escorted walk to and from Atholton Elementary school, homework time with guidance and support, an after-school snack, activities (yoga, organized games, outdoor play), Lego Land (take a tour!), arts & crafts, and focus on developing emotional intelligence. Our staff provides active listening after children's occasional stressful days.
I cannot be more pleased with our experience at Child's Garden. Mr. Harry is spectacular, as is his very talented team of staff. I feel not only that my daughter is well prepared for kindergarten, but that she is prepared socially for the next step in life. The staff at Child's Garden have been so helpful and have taken wonderful care not only of our daughter, but of our family when we needed it.

I sent my daughter here for kindergarten up to the 5th grade. She always came home complaining how it smelled funny in some places, looked dirty, and just not well cared for. She has gotten sick many times from being at this daycare- which is completely avoidable and could have saved us a few sick days or so. Really annoying. Harry yells at the kids when they don’t cooperate as well- I could hear it just from a block away as they were lined up outside when I picked my daughter up. Absolutely nasty attitude. The attendants here are the nicest part about it, but their safety standards are way off

A Child’s Garden has been a wonderful program for my 4 year-old son. In the several months that he has been attending, they have gone above and beyond to help him meet his potential and to identify areas where he might need additional support. The staff is warm, loving, and attentive. I could not be happier with our experiences and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

We have had our daughter enrolled at Child's Garden since last September and are so lucky to have found this center! Our little one has blossomed and thrived in this Reggio Emilia environment. The 2-3 teacher is amazing with the children. They go on nature walks once a week and spend a lot of time outdoors. I value this center so much and it is evident how much they care about the children there. If I ever have a concern they are super responsive via email or in person. The owner, Mr. Harry, is always warm and friendly greeting everyone in the morning and is actively involved in this center. I

We decided to enroll our child here and after only 2 days of attending parttime, we had security issues concerning my child's safety. The first day I came to pick up my child we greeted each other outside. The attendant must have noticed that my child was outside and she came out to explain that my son was fast and a wanderer. This was a red flag and was unacceptable that my 2 year old could have endangered himself under their care unsupervised .Me and my wife sent an email and addressed this issue the next day. We voiced our concerns to one of the office staff members and was told this would not

Be prepared for an abrupt end of service. My son was enrolled here recently and I was notified by my son's grandfather that Mr. Harry would not be picking him up from school ever again!! I was not given any phone call about any incident, there was no meeting to discuss plan of action for my son wandering off as child tend to do. When I interviewed the center I was told that they were qualified individuals and that Mr. Harry had years and years of experience. The way that Mr. Harry handled the situation was very unprofessional for someone who claims to have years of experience in child care and
