Last week I visited the store for the first time after reading all the reviews. I usually like to go see the store and connect with the staff before doing shopping. On my first visit I got the chance to see the beautiful pieces they have in the store and how professional/clean the place is. Also had opportunity to meet Mr.Mark while working with salesperson Brittany.
Overall Brittany have been a great person to work with because she really took her time explaining everything I asked and provided great customer experience. I didn’t think i would get the opportunity to meet Mr.Mark

I have been to a lot of stores in Houston, but never received a customer service as good as this store!! I walked in to cut my metal bracelet and they completed the job with such hospitality. General Manager David is the best. He deserves every level of respect for treating a customer so well. Peter is highly skilled and helped in cutting the metal bracelet. Second time I've used IW Marks. First was about 11 years ago for an engagement ring. Store has changed a bit since then, but the service is still top notch. Judith helped me pick out a pair of 10 year anniversary band upgrades for my wife's wedding ring. Brad the owner took the time to walk over, chat, and thank me for the business. Something you don't see all that often these days. They even went above and beyond and got the ring delivered the same day so that I could have it ready for our anniversary. Top notch!

I really need to go in for a watch battery. However, the last time I went over a year ago they made me feel so uncomfortable even though I have 2 Philip Stein watches that I’d also ove to have adjusted because I live in the area, they just seem to prejudge you based on how you look so I will more than likely have to go elsewhere to receive quality service in an atmosphere that is more open and receptive to African American customers. If you are buying something for your wife or girlfriend and not 100% sure that she will like it, do NOT shop here!! They have a horrible return policy. They do not allow returns or refunds for any circumstances only store credit, so good luck finding something else she likes that's a comparable price! They are basically ripping you off.

Great place and friendly staff, glad we did business with them. My salesperson, Brittany Ellis, was extremely kind and helpful. To begin with, she was very attentive when taking my phone call, and I could not ask for better customer service when I arrived. The owner was also attentive and kind, he took the time to listen. I’m very happy with the purchase, I appreciate the detail of the gifts I received, and certainly I will go back whether to service my watches or for future purchases.

Came in the first time and dealt with Trung. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't try to sell me on anything. When the tine came, I got a call for something I inquired about, and now have picked up 3 pieces from him. I have stopped by other times, and some of the other employees are kinda eh... BUT, as long as you deal with Trung, you're in good hands. Honesty, I wouldn't go back if it wasn't for him... Btw, he's off Wednesday's... This review is solely based on my experiences with Trung, if not, there would be 1 Star.

I W Marks is the standard in Houston of locally owned non-chain jewelers as far as I am concerned. The service there is personal, friendly and immediate as you walk in the door. There's no doubt they have your full attention and needs in mind.
Whether you are there to get some jewelry cleaned or repaired - which seems to be my reason for going each time - or to buy a $200 piece or a $10,000 piece; the employee makes you feel as though you are a Rockefeller

IW Marks is a perfect local jewelry shop. My family has been shopping here for generations. They had a huge selections and really beautiful pieces. The service is very friendly and they really take their time with each customer. I had my engagement ring re-sized here and they did a great job, including re-dipping it in rhodium. It might have looked better than when it was brand new! If you're shopping for any type of nice jewelry, IW Marks is worth a visit.

I have tried to use IW Marks two times because of their convenient location to my home. Sadly, both occasions were a disappointment. In searching for a nice watch for my son, the salesman was helpful, and we selected a nice watch and had it priced. When I did my comparison shopping, I was able to find the SAME watch for $1200, although he had to have one shipped to the store, which they did. IW Marks was not willing to come off their price at all, although they were quite persistent in calling me for weeks after to see if I was ready to purchase. I came here bc I had a loose stone and I wanted tighten the setting so that the stone would not fall out. Jadyn helped me. Talk about a person who never cracks a smile!. I was told to come back in five days to pick it up. I was given a slip and an estimate. I was also told that someone from the store would call me to let me know when I could pick it up.
