Fine Home Inspections was founded by Jamie Milholland and his wife Nancy in 2003. Prior to starting FHI, Jamie worked as a home inspector in the Denver, Colorado market, apprenticing first, and then working for six years with an established home inspection company.
He also has over 30 years of experience in all phases of construction, residential and commercial maintenance, handyman work and now enters his 20th year as a professional home inspector.Through continuing education requirements well above the state requirements, Jamie is up-to-date on the latest building codes and information.

Should you have a question about the function of your home, you can get answers 24/7 either online or on your smartphone through The Home Owners Networktm. This service is normally $199 per year, but you get this as a complimentary item when you have your home inspected with FHI (complete home inspections only please).
For safety it is recommended that you have sufficient exterior lighting, especially along porches and walkways leading to your home, as well as on driveways and garages. Standard lights and motion detectors may be purchased at most hardware stores. Wall-switch size timers are also available that can significantly reduce energy consumption.
