In the spring of 1999, Partita Custom Design Jewelry opened its doors in the Marina District of San Francisco, CA. Partita's owners, Beverly and Calvin Lee, were inspired to offer high-quality, traditionally-made jewelry, with a specialty in custom made pieces. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, opening Partita was also a way to bring together an impressive roster of artists and friends from the jewelry community.

I cannot say enough about Partita. I bought my wife's engagement ring from them, which was amazing and custom made. They also made our wedding rings. I also bought my wife a birthday gift necklace with our daughter's birth stone in the pendant. They created a beautiful pendant/disc for the stone to be held in. The jewelry decided the stone needed to be held in 24 karat gold, not 18 karat. But, they did not charge me extra because they are true craftsman. And, the stone, a garnet, is not that popular. Regardless, they ordered a variety of garnets for me to look at to chose the stone I liked best

My man worked directly with Mark & I'm so pleased with his expertise when he chose my ring. He was able to order it and pick it up the same day before our trip to the Bahamas. He proposed the night we arrived and we got married two days later on the beach. Such an exciting time, exceptional ring, and priceless experience! The staff of this store comes off very friendly and helpful, but they do not have their client's best interest at heart. I find it especially terrible when people who are looking to make one of the biggest, most significant purchases of their life are price gouged and given the run-around. Their goldsmith-designer Calvin Lee wholly took advantage of my fiance and me. My fiance went to them based on their good reviews and showed Mr. Lee multiple photos of the ring style I wanted- he confirmed that they could do what he asked- which was an oval sapphire with a micro-pave band. The price they quoted

Partita is awesome! My engagement ring was a design that other designers said they couldn't complete but Calvin was great, he created the ring I dreamed of and was reasonably priced. They were not pushy at all and helped to help design my wedding band which also came out beautiful. I can't thank them enough they turned my ring debacle into a pleasant experience and provided me with the perfect ring! I highly recommend Partita!

Partita is a fabulous jewelry store with a gracious and helpful staff an the creativity of the designer, Calvin. They sell both elegant and more conservative jewelry as well as jewelry which walks on the wild side. It's also in a great location on Chestnut St. which has a nearby parking garage and multiple stores and restaurants. The experience of shopping there is very nourishing and delightfully fun.
