In 2014 we moved to a new location, just east of State Street and Horseshoe Bend Road. We continue to provide clear merchandise and services options and fair prices, in a modern setting. We are still aware that family budgets are an appropriate element of funeral discussions with our customers. It's been just past a year since my husband sudden death brought us to Bowman's.
Right after the hospital pronounced my husband death, in the very late hours that evening, I arranged funeral arrangements over the phone. The family working at the parlor truly helped with an understanding of grieving family lacking experience with burying their deceased for the very first time.

Services
Life is full of opportunities to show someone we love them. One such opportunity is the funeral or memorial service. Such a loving event celebrates the choices they made, the relationship you shared, and honors the memory of your loved one. We started a funeral home on Glenwood Street in 2004 to provide services and merchandise for funerals without traditional sales methods.
When a friend or loved one dies or death is expected to take place soon, there are many details to take care of. This can be a very stressful time. You are grieving and may have assumed a great responsibility by taking on the task of making funeral arrangements for someone you care about. The following information will make this difficult time easier for you.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
In an effort to improve access, we are pleased to offer a variety of digital services and availability for those who are unable to attend visitations, services, or arrangement conferences. We believe in the importance of the funeral rite to help family members, friends and loved ones process their grief.
Webhealing.com, the first interactive grief website on the internet, offers discussion boards, articles, book suggestions, and advice for men and women working through every aspect of grief. The site's founder, Tom Golden LCSW, has provided book excerpts and contact information to help those healing from loss.

We lost both my Mom and Dad this year and used Bowman for both. The entire staff was compassionate, patient and comforting during our grief. Sarah was our funeral director and she was such a blessing to the family. She made sure we had all the information we needed to make our decisions, and patiently answered all our questions. We were never rushed and were treated like we were the only thing that mattered at the moment. Sarah gave us a list of what needed to be done and a reasonable timetable that allowed us the freedom to grieve and process our loss. Both our funeral experiences were handled

Bowman Funeral Parlor exceeded my expectations. My spouse passed away. I did not have a plan in place beforehand. I simply knew what my spouse wanted in terms of cremation and urns.
The Bowman people, Especially Randy, were very understanding and did not try to change my mind on any of the choices that my spouse or I had made. I appreciated that, since I was in a very emotional state. I did not need more stress.
Bowman people were highly efficient and demonstrated great care in dealing with us. They gave me updates along the way as things progressed with the state of Idaho and with Bowman's processes

I'm currently handling the third death of a close family member in the last ten years, and each one was handled with so much kindness and compassion. Yes, I would recommend Bowman Funeral Home to anybody who doesn't know how to handle the details when a loved one passes. They are true professionals.

I would really like to thank Lori and her staff for caring for my Grandfather. They did an amazing job. As a funeral home owner in Colorado I know the standard and care for families. Lori and her staff checked every box. I would highly recommend them.
Thanks so much again Lori!!

From start to finish, every person we had contact with was caring and efficient. Randy walked me through the details of the type service we settled on. Sarah kept us up to date with all the details in a that was empathetic yet accurate.
We have always been impressed by the way Bowmans has conducted other services of friends. It was easy to choose them, and they confirmed our faith in them.
