Summers Funeral Homes
Summers was the pick up funeral home in the two part transport after my father-in-laws death this last September. They did a fantastic job coordinating with the receiving mortuary in Springfield, Missouri. The man who came to Paramount Assisted Living to pick up my father-in-law at 5am was dressed in a suit, handled himself extremely professionally and even brought an American flag for a drape.

We were extremely pleased and felt comfort knowing that our loved one was being transported professionally back to Springfield for burial. Additionally, the staff at Summers kept us informed as to where in the transport process my father-in-law was and when he was received in Missouri. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I'm sure this is par for the course in funeral homes nowadays, but despite my very best efforts to get clear quotes and repeatedly asking how much something would cost before approving it, they found ways to avoid out-and-out lying while not telling me something-or-other wasn't included in the price I asked for when I attempted to ask for *the complete price* for that particular aspect of the charges.

I mean, I tried VERY hard to get straight answers and they still managed to circumvent me without "lying" about my price inquiries. In the end the bill was much, much more than
