Absolutely terrible customer service. Came in with a confirmed reservation and confirmation number and was told they had no record of my reservation and that they were full. No sorry, no alternate options, just "we have no rooms."
When I, understandably, got upset and said "this is screwed up," the man at reception started literally screaming at me, telling me that "he's just a person" and threatening to call 911 on me.
Looking at the exterior of this motel and reading other reviews, it sounds like he saved me a stay in a disgusting motel. Moved on to the Four

We expected this to be a budget-based stay lacking amenities. Our expectations were not met, BECAUSE THEY WERE EXCEEDED, between the wonderful sitting area out back and the luxurious jacuzzi in our suite, smiles were plastered on our faces that couldn't be wiped off. Will definitely return to such a fantastic hotel!

The man working at the front desk around 10:30 am on 6/29 was rude, disrespectful and intentionally hung up while I was asking a question. I first asked to be transferred and he told me how to do that (not very nicely though he sounded annoyed), but then as I continued to ask another question about the services, he hung up. When I called back and asked why he disconnected the call while I was still speaking and he was short and threatened to hang up, and continue hanging up if I called back. Terrible customer service!

The location was close to Hwy 5, easy access on and off. Very nice staff. Room was okay. They supplied shampoo and soap. Rented room with a jacuzzi in it which was awesome. The room was on the lower level so window looked outside just below eye level. Makes sense to put a jacuzzi in a room on ground floor, but it did make the room feel a bit damp. The floor felt cold and wet as well as the carpet even though they were dry. All in all I would stay there again. The rate was reasonable, friendly staff, great location.

I recently traveled to Bellingham on leisure for the first time and was eager to return to the Bay City Motor Inn. I'd stayed here ten years prior for a tour of and visit to Western Washington University, and had an equally pleasant stay this time around. As a traveler on a budget, I was grateful both times for the most affordable rates in town; my check-in experience was also quite convenient as I was able to call ahead of time and book a room from the road, albeit very last-minute. I wish to highlight the friendliness and courtesy of the entire family of hard-working, personable and attentive

I left a 5 star review, not because it's a 5-star hotel, but because for the rate and the class of hotel that it's in, it is very good. Friendly front desk staff and my housekeeper Jaswant Sandhu was very fiendly and thorough and does a great job. Decent free breakfast. Cereal, waffles, eggs, bagels and juics and pastries. Excercise room. Great location really. Stylish lobby with black leather furniture and nicely furnished with computer, desk, printer.

Right from check in I already had a bad feeling about this place. Asked for extra towels after being handed my room key and the staff reacted as if I asked for his first born. He went on to question me why I needed extra towels and unwillingly handed one over. Morning of check out the same man comes knocking on my door harassing me that it's 11 and that I should be out. This was at 1045. I showed him the time on my phone and be proceeded to argue with me about it. I have stayed at the coachman inn and days inn which are both located on the same block. Both are extremely polite and awesome

I stayed one night and wanted to cancel my second night due to a family emergency. The old man at the front desk was rude, not helpful, and not caring about any customer satisfaction or assitance. All he could say is "why are you bothering me, you don't pay my salary". Such bad representation of their company. There are many other places that are happy to help when you spend your hard earned money. I recommend not staying here.

The reservation agent took my reservation for a one night stay in August at a cost of $70. When I reserved the room, I told the agent that I was coming into town for the RSVP bike ride. Six weeks later, the hotel called me and said that they made a mistake on the room rate. Instead of the agreed price, they jacked up the rates that weekend to $199/night! He said they were sorry for the mistake, and canceled my reservation when I refused to pay the higher price. Not a good way to run a business.

Omg, manager acts as if it the Taj Mahall but it is SO NOT! 1 washer for 4 floors of guests, 2 dryers but 1 is so gross IT should also have an out of service sign. Non working heater in the room that took 3 days to fix, they gave us an extra blanket. In December! AND THE TERM " CUSTOMER SERVICE" is completely foreign to these people. I paid for sercice, I'm the customer, where's the disconnect?!?

What a dump ~ looks nice outside and _one_ of the Women in the Indian Family that runs the place , is trying very hard but the Father and Son are useless lazy jerks , the place was only passably clean , the furniture was broken up and the room air conditioner (room 303 third floor) was broken because they are TOO LAZY to clean the accumulated dust in it that normally accumulates in the evaporator core .
The room was supposed to be NON SMOKING but it stank of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burns on every surface and holes burned in the carpet and blankets , blood stains on the sheets

Came in to Belingham pretty late in the day, we drove past this place first and ended up staying here based on location. $60 for a room seemed slightly overpriced, but didn't want to bother looking anywhere else.
Pro: Nice room with Breakfast. Con: Sketchy parking lot. TV didn't work.
Didn't appreciate getting a phone call, asking if we are checking out or not.
