I was super excited to learn about Core Sport Pilates Fitness during Workout Wednesdays in DTP! My go to place before Core Sports was Club Pilates in Los Angeles. Prior to Workout Wednesday, I was on a search to find a reformer class so I decided to sign up for the intro package.

The intro package is the way to go! If you have done Pilates before, this is still the way to go. I tried a private class, multiple semi-private classes, and multiple group classes. The equipment is awesome! They have reformers, towers, and more! Game changer. The classes are small. At Club Pilates I was in a class of

Great place! The instructors I have worked with have been amazing! The facility is beautiful and clean! I am by no means fit, or athletic (yet!), but I still get a good challenge from the workouts, and assistance from the instructor. I encourage those reading this to try it out!

Signed using "Class Pass" to try the TRX class - I'm loving the fact you're able to reserve spots for available class but the down fall is you have to bet others before they get to it. Since this is a smaller studio - some classes are very limited.

My friend and I arrived SUPER EARLY - the studio is upstairs; unsure if there this is handicap accessible.

TRX class was tough but do-able; we sweat but unsure if that's was due to more to AC being off due to a bad storm the previous day - during that time no one could get it out the "hold" setting. :(

A great workout! It has the cutest, quaint location and the staff is absolutely fab! Also, they are the only studio that allows you to sign up for semi-private sessions online with other members...this is a major benefit! It enables you to partner with other members for more intimate sessions at a great price. #Genius I wanted to make this my pilates home but it's just a little too far. However, for some of their specials I might just have to take the jaunt!

Great instructors, great variety of classes!
A lot of classes to choose from, and the smaller class size allows for a lot of personal attention.

I travel a lot for my job. Because of this, I am able to go to Pilates studios all over the country. If you are unsure about how great Core Sport is - try going to another Pilates studio and you will see the difference.

While some studios are better than others, most do not make an investment in good equipment. Most Pilates studios have plastic reformers and towers on rollers. This makes a huge difference in the quality of your workout. Core Sport has the best equipment, everything is top of the line and well cared for.

At Core Sport it feels like a support team. Members talk to each other and

Core Sport is really a top notch facility. The instructors are REALLY WELL TRAINED and are EXTREMELY careful about preventing injuries. I especially enjoy semi-private Pilates with Jessica Post. She is kind, exceedingly knowledgeable, and is really in tune with each client. She will converse pleasantly with you while giving you the tough love we all need to become stronger!

As I said before, the facility itself is really clean and well-kept. It is located in a really charming area, too! It is totally worth the investment.

I don't like Pilates, but have taken many of the other classes here. Boot camp & many other classes are self paced were you often do as many reps as you can in a certain time frame, therefore, not trying to keep up with anyone who is more advanced than you. I feel the trainers are aware of your level and do not overexert you. They are sensitive to injuries. Most of the people in my classes are 30+ and are looking to stay in shape but are not serious body building/ hard core work out type of people.
I would highly recommend to anyone!

An island of classical Pilates in a sea of Stott. Classical Pilates is what ol' Joseph P started with way back in the 1920's. It's done with turned out feet (a bit like a ballet dancer) and tends to move a bit faster than Stott (in my opinion). It also, at the end of a session, makes you feel long and tall and stretched and strong. This studio uses the old school equipment to isolate the muscles, help keep you even and leave you feeling tired, but light as air when you walk out. I've had private sessions with a couple of trainers now and done a couple of mat classes. It&apos
