Twin Hickory Tavern

Food is very fresh and flavorful, which more than makes up for the fact that it's a tad on the pricey side for a neighborhood bar and grill (but not terribly so). Atmosphere is great, as is the service -- employees are very attentive and professional, and turnover seems on the low side for a restaurant, which says a lot. Have also recommended it to a number of people, all of whom have said it was well worth it.

Joel was amazing. Very pleasant and quick service. He made sure my food was perfect and always kept my drinks refilled. Absolutely must try this hidden gem, the food and drinks were amazing!!!!

Truly enjoyed being back here after rebranding. The dining room was tastefully rearranged with trendy booths and tables. Four large TVs above the bar allow you to enjoy any sports from your table. This is a great place to watch games and have a great meal at the same time. The menu is exciting, a lot of creative dishes make you want to try them all. It seems as chef Ramsay has been here. They also have a good selection of beer and offers happy hours. What a great neighborhood restaurant!

Lunch on a Wednesday for a first visit and it was very good. The service is friendly and prompt and the food was very good. The Tavern sandwich is grilled sliced turkey with white cheddar and bacon on a ciabatta roll and it was very good. The French fries were seasoned with a paprika tasting dusting which isn't my favorite flavor but were hot and cooked well. They use the same seasoning on the homemade hips but again they were cooked well. The THT burger was cooked correctly and very tasty. A nice atmosphere with a bar and happy hour specials. Will be back!

Professionally run and the food was delicious. A lot of choices for draft beer and ale (yes there is a huge difference between beer and ale). The breakfast steak tacos are tasty and i really enjoyed being able to see my football game. Good job!

This is a fantastic place to eat and enjoy great conversation. Whether you are here to dine with the family or have a seat at the bar for a drink or r two. The staff are great and everyone is very friendly.

My husband and I have tried to support local restaurants since the pandemic, but some really make it hard. While I understand they have to be careful and keep things sanitized, you still need to have menus that that your patrons can hold in their hand, OTHER THAN A CELL PHONE!!! People are too glued to their devices as it is now and we don't go to a restaurant just look at our phones to see what we want to eat. When I asked if we could see a real menu, the hostess apologized and said they had run out. Mind you, there was a stack of paper menus right behind her (might have been for different meal

First time here since it was rebranded from the old Home Team Grill. Similar atmosphere, comfortable and inviting. The food was really good. I had a couple of my friends wings and they were flavorful and a little crispy which I love. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which was on special. I really enjoyed it, exactly how a Cuban should be. I also wanted to add that our waitress was beyond phenomenal. You know how you can just tell when someone loves their job, is genuinely helpful, and cares that you are happy? She was a truly memorable person! I'm definitely looking forward to going back.

The prices are low and it's great location, perfect if you want a good drink close to home. But the burger was not made right, no flavor and too hard to bite into. Fries were tough and not crispy. I'm willing to try their other entrees but I'll be sticking to firebirds for burgers and fries.

I have sat here for over one hour and not one single person has approached me to take my order.
This is quite possibly the worst customer service that I have ever experienced.
There are maybe 10 people in the place.
Don't waste your time coming here.

Happy to see a local tavern open up, so we gave it a try. Love supporting locally owned businesses. Wish I could say something good about the food, but everyone in my party were disappointed.

The interior looks pretty similar to how it had been before it because the Twin Hickory Tavern, ie a lot of mismatched seating. But, that's ok.

Service was fast and friendly and we appreciated having a big booth.

Prolly better off coming here for a beer to watch a game. Dine elsewhere.

Just felt the need to give this place some props for their amazing food and their chipotle ranch sauce. If you have taste buds and want them to be happy you should definitely come here. Everything from their broccoli & fries to their wraps and burgers are incredible. I come there like every 2 weeks just for that sauce too. Definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it!

This is my new favorite spot in short pump. My husband and I were very reluctant to try since we weren't fans of the former bar that was there, but once we tried it I was sad we waited so long. The menu has a great variety, it's not just bar food done right it also has some fabulous entrees that would fit in on a high-end restaurant menu. There food is made with great quality and attention to detail. The service staff is also very attentive and friendly. The have a great selection of bourbon and cocktails, and it's very clean and a nice modern atmosphere. The only negatives I have

It sounds like the people poorly reviewing this place are bitter about the previous restaurant closing down. Twin Hickory Tavern was wonderful! The service was great, atmosphere was comfortable and food was delish! Their menu has a little bit of everything a tavern should have- nachos (yum!), wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, soups and salads and a few fancy plates. There's a long list of cocktails and beers, too. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious! My husband enjoyed his burger too. We enjoyed our dinner and will be back!

Good food and great service. Newly re-branded and remodeled formerly Home Team Grill. Solid assortment of beer on tap, and TV's to watch your game. If you're there for lunch, or brunch, you have to get the chicken waffles they are crazy good.

We visited Twin Hickory Tavern tonight and we werevery pleased the experience. The waitress was so kind. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Very clean. And we ordered the special....Salmon fish tacos which were wonderful! Highly recommend. We enjoyed beer on tap. We will definitely be back. 5 stars

We were so excited to find this neighborhood restaurant. My daughter and I shared the chicken satay, Brussels sprouts and buffalo cauliflower along with the tomato burrata salad and all were delicious. Service was fast and friendly! We will be back and hope they do well!

Not a fan. Wings were bland, tavern sandwich had a very dry roll. Definitely not worth the $40 for basically an appetizer, a sandwich, a beer and tea. Service was good however. Miss HTG !

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Twin Hickory Tavern. At this friendly neighborhood restaurant, the decor/atmosphere is easy, casual. The menu offers a mix of burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos and entrees. A "specials" board offering a selection of plated meals is also available. The beer is cold and cocktail list large. Even in the middle of a pandemic, with socially-distanced seating arrangements, Twin Hickory felt warm and inviting! Try the barbacoa tacos, yummy!

The vibe and food taste like a Capital One employee who thought he could own a Sports Bar! Everything is just wrong here; the food is overcooked, the layout is confusing and the menu item names make everything sound Undesirable! But if you like that: Middle-aged Bro feel and enjoy over cooked dry food washed down with, of course, an IPA! Go give Frank from data solutions $40 and enjoy!

Not a fan.. the area has no acoustics. Very loud . No separation from bar and dining. But there is noo bar seating.. covid has killed home team grill and spawned Twin Hickory tavern.
I tired the burger sliders. AKA hockey pucks so very over done that the cheese melted away .. everything is over cooked. No happy hour .. closed during that time.. hope things change.
