We LOVE this place! We eat here at least monthly and have enjoyed it every time. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick. We tried the General Tso’s chicken tonight and it was delicious. Could not recommend this place any more!

Update 1/18/22 Be careful if you get delivery. The driver will add their own tip on top of the delivery charge after you sign (note different ink).
Check your credit card statement against your receipts!
They offered to refund the four dollars.
2 Years Ago - Come here for the Friday Buffet. The food is very good.

Quick service and the food is great, very flavorful and nice portions per item. Worth the trip and the price. I go here at least twice a month and more depending on what I have a taste for. Give them a try, you may find a new favorite for Chinese food...

The food is always good here. I have had a hard time finding quality Chinese food since moving from New York. Hunan's food always tastes fresh. I wish they would bring the buffet back (post covid)... Take out will do for now.

I frequented Hunan and Introduced lots of people to this place years ago. The atmosphere and food was wonderful! Since the new ownership and I'm not sure how many times it has changed, but nothing is the same. I will not go there again.

I ordered chicken lo mein and got spaghetti noodles with chicken and a couple of pieces of scallion. I called to see if there had been a mistake, but they use spaghetti instead of lo mein noodles and give a couple pieces of scallion and some Napa cabbage. I didn't even get the cabbage. Serious disappointment. Waste of money.

Got takeout from here today. They charged me $2 for a "convenience fee" for...buying my food? I guess? And the general tso's chicken was garbage. Chewy, not spicy, no flavor. Bland af fried rice. Two stars cause it was quick, but I did NOT enjoy this overpriced food

This place slaps! They always say 20-30 min and it shows up in 10. It’s ALWAYS the same level of quality, even ordering new things I didn’t really like, it was still really good. The lady that answers always remembers what we get, and is always very friendly. For what I’m paying, it’s absolutely worth giving this place a try. Everything is good, but the crispy beef ex spicy is where it’s at. Also do yourself a flavor, and get the donuts for dessert, absolutely lit. 10/10 - 5 stars - perfect food every time.

I've been happily stopping at Hunan East, nearly every Saturday, to fill up a take-out tray from their buffet, which has many healthful options, with stir-fried meat and vegetables, all cooked just enough. I… get enough food for 4 meals, for the price of two, and that's with a tip (just my choice, not expected, and I serve myself).

Last year my best friend and I came here quite a few times a month - we were never disappointed! The food quality and service is solid. Food is always fresh and hot - not just chilling under some heat lamps. One time we drove all the way from Virginia Beach just to eat here! Thank you Hunan East!!

I absolutely love Hunan East!! I have been eating here for years because they serve the best Chinese food!! Their buffet is absolutely amazing!! Can't say enough good things about my favorite restaurant.
