Weigh of Life was created so that individuals at any income level who want to improve their exercise and nutrition habits and promote preventive health can do so in a safe and supportive environment. We offer Zumba, Kickboxing, Step Aerobics and Healthy Cooking classes at four locations in Richmond and San Pablo.

Several locations include childcare. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and partners, classes are offered at only $25 per month for unlimited classes or $5 per drop-in class. Since 2006, we have helped 15,000 Richmond and San Pablo residents achieve a healthy weight and a balanced diet. With Weigh of Life, I learned how to eat healthy and passed these new habits on to my family.
Services
Exercise fitness program created by Colombian dance and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez, during the 1990's. Zumba combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using principles from aerobics and fitness to achieve cardio and muscle toning benefits. Burns calories, promotes endurance, improves posture, boosts confidence, increases coordination, reduces anxiety - a full body workout.
We believe it is harder to achieve goals alone, which is why we provide social support for our participants. To promote community, we participate in multiple social events every year and partner with other nonprofit organizations. We motivate our members through family dinners, community events and outdoor activities.
