Additionally, you'll be surrounded by women who have the same wellness goals as you. This fosters an environment where you get to support and encourage each other as you adopt healthier lifestyles. My goal is to build a sisterhood founded on fitness where participants enjoy and look forward to getting fit.

With the goal to provide a service for women only. My focus was to develop a safe space where they can feel free to be themselves, be comfortable to come as they are, build sisterhood and fitness, and have fun while working out. After years of struggling with my own weight, I discovered a method that worked.
Services
At Get It Girl Fitness, I design and conduct fitness programs for women in and around San Pablo, California. Each class is different to ensure that you won't get bored and you look forward to trying something new every day. I also occasionally bring in special instructors to teach you exercises that will help you lose weight even faster and more effectively!
For as long as I can remember, I was always complaining that I was so overweight. With all of that complaining, I didn't have any intentions to make any changes to my lifestyle. Well after being told "tomorrow's the last day to sign up for the challenge". I said ok, I'll try it. That first day, I walked in so terrified of the unknown.

I can’t say enough great things about this fitness studio. The owner and main trainer, Coach Latona, is so passionate about helping her members reach their goals in the gym. I have been with Get It Girl since she started in 2018, and it’s been worth every penny. I lost 30+ lbs in the first year and maintained my weight loss consistently. GIG has a variety of classes, from bootcamp, hip hop step aerobics, cardio kickboxing, dance, weightlifting and so much more. No two classes are ever the same.

Great gym, great workouts, GREAT SISTERHOOD and excitement from all members. Fun, engaging activities sprinkled throughout the year to challenge you. Community outreach is phenomenal. Getting women fit in such a fun way, coach Latonia really has found her ministry in GIG. Plus the workouts are challenging!! BUT STILL FUN.

Still a five-star gem, despite COVID restrictions shutting down all indoor gyms and fitness studios in the greater Bay Area as of December 2020. Coach Latona (LT) continues to provide virtual sessions via Zoom and our private Facebook group. When weather permits, she puts on socially-distanced outdoor workouts to keep us motivated and excited. GIG has different challenges and activities to make things interesting, and no day or week is the same. Thank you, Coach LT for all your dedication and hard work you put in for your members!

This place plays music and has their microphone SO LOUD at 7 am that we can hear it in the neighborhood across the street. We tried calling and their phone goes straight to voicemail. I don't see why they need to have their music playing so loud so early. Not trying to give this place a bad rep, but wish they'd be more considerate of the neighbors who are trying to sleep.

If you are looking for a place to workout where EVERYONE is welcoming, encouraging, and absolutely hilarious, Get It Girl Fitness is for you. I love this studio so much that I attend their 7 am Saturday classes. I’ve NEVER gotten up that early to do anything but go to work or school. 😊💪🏽

There’s so much I can say about Get it Girl Fitness. This past year working out with coach LT has change my life for the better. I love and appreciate her for being genuine and honest and actually caring about your health and progress in her program. If you thought about coming, do not waste your time thinking. Get up and move! I had fun laughing while working out with an amazing group of fantastic ladies. I felt as though I've known these ladies forever! … I have prayed for a number of things in my life and God is so amazing - answering each one thats His will for me! This is a fun, safe no judgment place to begin and continue your fitness journey. Everyone is encouraging and the workouts are challenging yet doable for beginners and seasoned athletes alike. The frequent outings (Halloween, Christmas, bowling and holiday workouts) make GIG my family.

Coach LT has seriously changed my life. I have struggled with maintaining a healthy weight most of my life. When I moved to Richmond I was in the best shape of my life however after 3 years and a masters degree while working full time I gained 30 lbs. I was 28 with back pain, I was breathless when I walked up stairs, and I had horrible eating habits. At the time I was hiking once a week (and that was a slow hike).
