Desert Blossom Health & Rehabilitation is a modern, state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility, located in east Mesa, Arizona. We are just off East Main Street between South Higley Road and North Power Road, behind Mesa Fire Station #220. We feature 106 beds and beautiful spacious rooms in either private or semi-private settings.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIFYING!!!! ELDER ABUSE IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE THEM! THEY LET YOUR LOVED ONE CRY AND FEEL AS IF THEY ARE NOT OF VALUE!! MY GRANDMOTHER WAS NOT BATHED IN 9 DAYS!!! SHE HAS HER MEDICINES GIVEN AT HOME ON TIME BUT THEY REFUSE TO GIVE HER THEM WHEN SHE NEEDS THEM! YOUR LOVED ONE WILL CALL FOR HELP AND IT WILL TAKE THEM 2 OR MORE HOURS TO RESPOND! THEY HAVE ATTITUDE AND ARE SO DISRESPECTFUL! THEY DONT HAVE BADGES SO FIGURING THEIR NAMES OUT ARE IMPOSSIBLE! SO SCOTT PETTY WHAT ARE YOU AS A DIRECTOR OF THIS PLACE GOING TO DO TO CHANGE IT!?

Patient had developed a terribly painful bed sore which was supposed to be tended to twice a day. Days would pass without anyone treating it. Then, on a holiday Monday, they suddenly tell him he is being discharged that day. All friends and family live 3 hours away and many were out of town for the long weekend. Plus, a robe disappeared and the one sent to replace it, which the carrier said was delivered to the front desk, was never given to the patient. Avoid this place.

Was not the best place my grandmother went to. Actually Banner hospital just sent her without us making that call. The service was poor they did not do physical therapy, the room was always dirty, they did not try to work with her. Bad service all the way around. They made sure to get every penny from her insurance until they decided oh okay you can go home now.

This was the worse decision I've made in caring for my mom. I went off the reviews since we can't tour facilities. They completely neglected my mom; they did not assess her properly, documented in her chart incorrectly, took blood pressure and IV sticks in her left arm which has a fistula for her dialysis, they did not change her clothes when they became nasty, they did not bathe her and allowed a sore to form which is only getting worse. Do not allow your loved one to stay in this facility, such a horrible experience!

They are woefully understaffed. Why do they continue to admit residents when it's obvious there isn't adequate staff to take care of everyone? I've waited as long as 2 hours to get a diaper change, haven't had a bath since I got here 5 days ago, about half the cna's act like it's too much to take care of my needs. This place came highly recommended to me but, I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This place is horrible and dirty in my sister room. My mom brought the few brand new t shirts and the blankets are missing. My sister's cell phone is missing too. We can't find it...must be someone stealing her cell phone while my sister sleeping. My mom wrote the as list something missing. My mom showed this to the nurse said can't do anything about it. Full of baloney!

My grandfather was a resident here and we absolutely were pleasantly surprise by the care. We had heard so many bad stories of care centers, even had a bad experience personally. We were welcomed with smiling faces by all the staff. My grandfather would regularly tell us of staff that was going above the title of their job. The nursing staff was so helpful and quick respond. Therapy staff really got him back on his feet after not being able to go home. Dietary made it so he undetstiod his alternate diet and offer many choices. I am happy to report he is better than he was before . thank you Desert

Desert Blossom took the time and care to stay in communication with me. Any time you have a family member in a nursing home, it's rough. The admissions team made the process a breeze and really relieved alot of my anxiety. My family member has been there for 7 days now. Awesome food, good treatment, and the nurses are friendly and attentive.
