I bring my education in integrative medicine (IM) and Western medicine to the clinical setting. I have extensive experience, a true love of treating elderly people with Alzheimer's, various forms of dementia, anxiety, depression, and grief. I also have experience in treating people of all ages for ADHD/ADD.
Melatonin is the hormone responsible for sleep. Your body begins producing it when the sun sets and day turns to night. Melatonin peaks at midnight and stays high until about 3:00 am. From there, it declines rapidly and which allows for wakefulness. Taking 3mg of melatonin 2 hours before bed (for example, at 8:00 pm) increases the amount of melatonin in the brain so that it adds to the natural amount produced in the body.
Is your inability to focus or do tasks efficiently preventing you from achieving your goals? You might have thought to yourself if you have ADHD it would have been identified sooner. You might wonder why you lose your keys, phone, or other important items so often. Or maybe you have found a system that works for you like keys always go in a specific place.
Do you think about the decisions you've made in your life and wish you'd made different ones? Do you have times where your heart is racing, it is hard to catch your breath, or you feel like you're going to jump out of your skin? The thought of going to the grocery store where there are so many people is just too much?
Are you trying to balance getting up at night to check on your family member, helping them to the bathroom, or comforting them when they are scared with a career and family yourself? Are you getting calls from the facility your family member is in saying you've got to do something to help them, their behaviors are out of control?

I have been seeing Sean Elrod, MHPNP, at Capstone Mental Health via Telehealth for 6 - 8 months now and it has great! I had no problems when I called to make the appointment. The girl who answered the phone was very pleasant and answered all of my questions without any problems. She definitely knew her stuff! She explained how everything would work over Telehealth for me and what to do if I had any problems connecting to their server, etc. They sent me an email the day of my appointment explaining again how to get on their Telehealth system. Then they sent me a text about 30 minutes before my appointment

My doctor is amazing and I understand he must have a busy schedule. However, if you need help with your pharmacy, prescription, or anything else this is not the place. My pharmacy ran out of my medication but another pharmacy in the same town had the medication I needed. I called the front office repeatedly and left four voicemails asking for help to get the medication I need(this all happened the day my medication was sent to the pharmacy). The voicemails and emails I left were not acknowledged and when I did get in touch with Erin she said she would send it in. I called the pharmacy later to

I was able to get an appointment virtually with Sean and he is absolutely amazing. He was actually recovering from being sick and still made the time to see me and help me. I was so comfortable with him and could tell immediately how much he cared. Would highly recommend Capstone Mental Health and Sean!

My psychiatrist, Sean Elrod, moved here after the last practice he was at shut down. The onboarding process was incredibly easy and I was able to meet with my psychiatrist again without any hiccups or missing any refills of my medication.
Since then I have been meeting with him through the virtual portal, which is easy to use and he is able to schedule my next appointments with me right there.

Dr. Sean Elrod is one of the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He is attentive to my needs and concerns and is always reassuring. He consistently makes the environment a safe place to share issues to be able to treat me to the best of his ability. He is patient with me and takes the time to help me understand and or clarify questions and concerns pertaining to medications, mood, and outside resources. I’m extremely grateful, it’s rare to find such a great doctor with a good heart who truly cares for his patients. I would without a doubt recommend him to anyone needing professional help.

Julie is the most kind, comprehensive and empowering healthcare provider I have ever had. I finally feel heard and hopeful for the first time in a long time. I'd highly recommend Capstone Mental Health, it is the most accessible, easy to use software and delivery of healthcare I have used. Everyone is very kind and flexible and I'm sure the other providers are just as lovely. Excellent!
