Clearview Home Inspection, Inc. is a locally owned and operated home inspection business in the greater Chicago area. We inspect with inspectors certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors. Qualifications/Membership. I bring well rounded experience and knowledge of all the home's components to the inspection in order to write an opinion on your property's present condition, function, and operation.
Clearview will identify & describe visual defects or safety issues which will prepare you for your final buying decision. Together we will walk through the property, visually evaluating the structure and components which make up the home. Based upon our findings, we will help prioritize their significance.

Bill was great in all aspects of the home inspection. He followed up quickly, both to make the appointment and with the inspection report. Bill was very thorough in his inspection, making sure to take time to look at all appliances, the attic, kitchen and bathroom fixtures. His report was easy to understand -- he clearly identified items that needed to be addressed immediately versus ones that could be done at some point.

Bill was timely, knowledgeable and performed a very thorough inspection on the 112 year old house I was purchasing. It was 100 degrees on the day and he persevered through and performed a quality inspection in the un-air conditioned space including the attic.

I’ve hired Bill multiple times for a business property and my personal home inspection!! Each time he was on time and very thorough with his inspection. He even returned the day after (since it was raining on the day of the actual inspection) to view the roof just in case there was anything he missed with the weather not being up to par (even though he viewed the property in the rain as well)! I not only got a great inspection, he walked me through the inspection report while completing the inspection and after he created the report!

I chose Bill because he was the most responsive, and upon initial conversations, proved to be the most detail oriented inspector I could find in the Chicago west suburbs. While most inspectors offered 1-2 hour inspections, Bill was willing to spend much more time to catch all of the things that matter. When at the property, he spoke honestly and intelligently about the property. Don’t use him if you want a quick skim of the property - choose him if you want to feel really confident that you know the property you are purchasing.

Bill from Clearview was on time and did a thorough job. Thinking back to my last home inspection, in comparison, Clearview was far more thorough; Bill crawled under the steps/deck and even removed the electrical panel to check the wiring. He also took the time to walk me through the house to explain potential problem areas and gave me a detailed written report with lots of photos.

How was more than satisfied with his level of care and experience.My realtor said they have never seen an inspector to such a thorough and good job.He went above and beyond to make sure it that was fully satisfied and awnser any questions that I might have.I know that home inspector cannot see through walls But with bill I was more than confident of his capabilities and experience.I Would-be more than willing to refer him to a friend or family member have confidence that he would do the same for them. First and foremost Bill was on time and the service was spectacular . Bill explained his findings with great detail and patients. Clearview Home inspection are definitely the way to go when it comes to home inspection. I looked at several properties and thanks to Clearview they helped me find the property that I was happy with. I had Bill Kent as a Home Inspector on July 3, 2015. He made a thorough inspection from top to bottom, inside and out. He presented a detailed written report indicating he had carried out an extensive coverage of the property. With clear photographs he pointed out precisely where both the exceptional spots and the trouble spots were located. I was unaware of several of them. He clarified my questions with up-to-date information and some helpful suggestions. Mr. Kent came across as a personable man of integrity.

Bill Kent of Clearview Home Inspections did an inspection of my house last week. It was very detailed and complete and he pointed out several things, both good and not so good about the century-old house that I was unaware of and that needed to be addressed. As a residential architect myself, I found his knowledge of residential construction and systems to be very thorough.
