Brazilian Top Team

Traditionally, the study of the martial arts consists of both the practice of skills and the adherence to a code of conduct, or ethics. Brazilian Top Team Brevard dedicates entirely to the formation of new talents in martial arts.

The code of student conduct is established to foster and protect the core missions of the academy, to foster the formation and civic development of BTT Brevard's students in a safe and secure learning environment, and to protect the people, properties and processes that support the academy and its missions.No cell phones, pagers, beepers or other electronic devices will be allowed in the mat area, without express permission from the instructor.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or "BJJ" is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting, focusing on the skill of controlling one's opponent through techniques that force him or her to submit. It prides itself in being known as the "gentle art", allowing a smaller, weaker person to use leverage and submissions (chokes, locks) to defend himself against a bigger opponent.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not easy. It is widely accepted that it is, in fact, the most difficult Martial Art. We challenge each of our children to put in real effort. To push themselves to be the best they can be BOTH on and off the mats. We are heavily involved with the parents and encourage updates on behavior and grades at school.
