Muay Thai is known as the "art of eight limbs" due to its extensive use of elbow and knee strikes in addition to the standard punches and kicks found in traditional martial arts like Karate and Taekwondo. Muay Thai has become known the world over as an effective and powerful martial art, serving as the base style for many Mixed Martial Arts fighters.
I am a 3rd degree black belt under Master Renato Tavares and a Kru in Muay Thai. I have trained martial arts my whole life and competed in both gi and nogi competions as well as fought MMA and Muay Thai.
