Love this place. I went engagement ring shopping to many different places in Houston and this place was the most professional and attentive. Rice Village Diamonds was the first diamond store I went to and ultimately who I chose to build an engagement ring. Gil was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and is the reason I chose Rice Village Diamonds. He not only helped me through the process but his diamond selection was by far better then other places I went to so I was able to purchase a better diamond at the same price as other places were charging. Gil is in a league of his own. We went to a handful of jewelers when looking for an engagement ring, but the second we walked into RVD, we knew that we would make the purchase there. Found a necklace on their website that I wanted to purchase as a wedding gift. The necklace showed in stock so I drove the 25minutes to their location to buy it. When I walked in and described it, the salesman started saying they could order it for me. I told him that it said in stock on their website. He said that means they can order it directly from a warehouse. That is NOT what in stock means. The salesman knew that their website does not represent their actual on site inventory so it’s either a deceitful practice to draw in customers and sell them other items or pure incompetence. Very disappointed

Gil and his team did an amazing job helping me create my custom made engagement ring. He really got to know me and he went to the ends of the earth to find me the perfect pink sapphire. I thought it would be way out of our price range, but he made it happen.
