Our well-educated and well-trained staff believes that every child will grow and learn in a safe, loving environment where teachers and parents are partners. We differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each individual child's development.

We accept each child and family as unique and special. It is our sincere belief that our students will leave our school with the internal motivation and problem solving skills to succeed in life, and the social and academic skills necessary to integrate into the public, private or charter school that follows.
Services
The PVCS curriculum is designed to build academic skills in such a way that the process enhances personal growth and development. The curriculum is personalized. It evolves from the interests, needs and maturity of individual children. We provide a variety of open-ended activities and experiences in all developmental areas (social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive) to encourage creativity and problem solving.
Our classrooms provide a safe environment where children can become increasingly independent as they learn new things. Age appropriate toys are provided so children can explore how things work. Daily activities nurture growth in all areas: social-emotional, physical, cognitive and language. During center time students are able to choose from a variety of activities: science, art, blocks, dramatic play, math, sensory, puzzles and games.
Volunteering in your child's class is a Wonderful opportunity to get to know your child's friends, other families and teachers. Being in the classroom also allows you to see our curriculum in action. Parents who are unable to volunteer in the classroom can help in a variety of ways outside of the classroom: make playdough, cut out projects, help with fundraising, donate supplies for special projects, help with family events like movie night.
As an author and lecturer on the topic of the science of early brain development and learning, I recently had the opportunity to spend time at the Paradise Valley Cooperative several staff development trainings for the teachers and administration. What a pleasure! What I found while working with the staff is a passion for young children and an understanding of how infants, toddlers and preschooler actually learn.

My daughter has been apart of the PVCS family since 6 weeks old! As a first time mama I was so afraid to leave her...until I toured with Terry. From the moment I walked in her and her team calmed any nerves I had. Since that day I have been lucky enough to see firsthand the love and commitment they have for each child. My daughter is now in their Pre-K program and I'm dreading her moving on to Kindergarten, but confident she will be prepared with much thanks to PVCS!

I can't imagine finding a better place to take my child. After experiences at multiple other preschools that were ok but lacking in one way or another, this one is the best. They are kind, the curriculum is great and it feels like taking my child to family every day when I drop off. Just take a tour and meet Terri and all your questions and concerns will be answered.

We love this school. The teachers are kind and do a great job of encouraging the children while helping them learn. We have tried others school around the area but they don’t compare to the kindness of the staff and the education they provide.

I always feel like my son is in good hands at PVCS. We have been bringing him here for 5 years now. Terry, the owner, is very down to earth and has been fully committed to his success. The teaching staff are kind and friendly and have made him love going to school. I am very thankful that we found this place!

A great school, all the teachers care about the kids and it's a very welcoming place for your kids. It's a hidden gem if you are trying to find the right place.
