Ordered carry out the Filet Brianna which was pan seared filet mignon medium rare and they were cooked perfect. Also ordered the Fresh Salmon couldn't believe the size of the Salmon. It was all amazing. Best carry out so far during this pandemic. We ordered the Chicken Picatta meal for 4 carry out last week and it was excellent.
They gave us a large tray of chicken that was delicious. The salad was also large and full of toppings. The salad at most places we have ordered carry out from have been mostly an afterthought, but not this one. It was excellent. And we are still enjoying the large tub of dressing they gave us with the salad.

Vic's Casual Dining is a family-owned, Italian restaurant located in Southgate, Michigan in the heart of "Downriver". Vic's Casual Dining is a small, locally-owned intimate fine-dining experience. Very disappointed by the food.
My cannaloni was served cold and flavorless. Kim our server was very polite as busy as it was.my salad, and the bread were the best part of the meal.
My wife's BBQ ribs were very tender, the French fries were crinkle fries out of a bag.
Prices on the food are fair portion size is ok.
I've heard so many positive things about this place,not worth making a reservation in my opinion.
Again didn't get the wow factor I was looking for.
For a place calling themselves authentic Italian cuisine, not true.
This isn't cuisine.
Restaurant was clean, outside lot was.

We love this place. It's not frozen re heated food. It's made fresh daily. The owner Vic told us that himself. The wine selection is great. Food is wonderful, staff is awesome. The ambiance is so cute and old school. You just really feel at home here. I can't sat enough about this place. A little gem forsure!

Made reservations..there on time..greeted and seated. Our server however, informed us it would not be a casual greeting of friends with food, drinks and desserts...but our table was only good for 1.5hrs and our clock was ticking...Huh..horrible to be greeted like this. Food was good. Service was rushed and brusk for my out of town guests. 3 stars

Inlaws took my wife and me here for the first time. This place is a shining example of "don't judge a book by its cover," I was so impressed. The portions are great, the prices are SO refreshingly reasonable, dare I say cheap? The service is attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious. Feels warm and inviting inside. Totally non pretentious, if you're looking for a place to sit down and eat a genuinely good meal without regret when the bill comes, this is the spot.

Both times we were here we received bad service. The first time a couple of years ago, the waiter forgot to put our order in. We had a small group of people with us. It took the waiter a half hour before he realized he never put the order in. They also ran out of Minestrone soup that night too, which is a big pet peeve of mine. The food was decent. I decided to try again today. It took 10 minutes to get a drink and be acknowledged. I think they were understaffed. The food this time was great, although service...not so much. I got the Eggplant parmesan and Minestrone soup..my boyfriend got the ravioli
