You're folding the tiniest little socks and decorating the nursery, imagining the sweetest snuggles that will happen there soon. Days run into nights & nights to days, and your one constant amid the emotions and changes is your new little love - and the fierce love you found for them the moment you met them.
Our experience allows me to help you get the joyful photos you desire in a highly personal way. You know you want photos, but what will you do with them once you have them? During our consultation, we'll work together to envision how you'd like to display and enjoy your photos in print, making a tentative plan for the artwork you'd like to order.
I feel called to serve people with varying backgrounds and means, not just those who can typically afford professional photography. To fulfill that call, hope, & dream of mine, I currently work with local nonprofits to offer pay-what-you-can photo sessions to specific members of our community. These sessions are made possible by generous pay-it-forward contributions from clients throughout the year.
I know, I know - how dare I say that before you've even met your new little love? But it's true. You will snuggle up so tight with your little babe, you will nourish them and do whatever it takes to help them get the rest they need, and they will grow. It's a beautiful thing, and it's an emotional thing - all of a sudden, our tiny babies aren't tiny anymore.

Thank you Kelly for a fantastic experience and amazing product!! 30 seconds before Kelly was going to put our kids in position, I hit my 7-year-old in the nose by accident with my arm and the tears started flowing. Somehow, Kelly had him in position and laughing like crazy within 2 mins. Amazing! The Xmas cards were unbelievable, the quality was amazing, the ornaments have been a hit, and we just love our photo box! Well worth every penny!

Update: Kelly is a dream to work with! She’s flexible in terms of dates and locations. She’s confident behind the camera, which in turn, makes you feel comfortable in front of her camera. And she has great products to display your photos throughout your home (or share with grandparents!). We love her style and know the photos she took of our family will be treasured for many many years!

Kelly was fantastic to work with. She worked really hard to get to know us as individuals and a family, was extremely personable, and has a strong attention to detail. We worked with Kelly, the owner of Light Creative Art, to take fall family photos with our six month old daughter. Kelly is an absolute dream to work with! She is the ultimate professional - from patiently walking us through the planning process to making the entire photo taking experience so much fun (even for my husband who, to be quite honest, does not love having his photo taken). I enjoyed my mini shoot with Light Creative Photography. Kelly was really nice and answered all of my questions from beginning to end. She made me feel comfortable during the shoot and would help guide me a little with posing. She has a wide range of art products and prints to choose from to remember your photos and she even made a delivery of the items I ordered which was appreciated! She is professional and friendly and I would recommend Light Creative to others.

We already knew we wanted Kelly for our gender reveal photos since she did my husband’s graduation photos. She has the perfect eye and helps us relax and be as natural as possible. For this particular shoot, it was a stressful day but once we got to our venue, Kelly helped so much in being positive and lightening the mood. She even helped corral our puppy who was able to get a few shots with us. We were so pleased with her work once again and look forward to many more session. There’s no need for us to look elsewhere…Kelly’s the one!

Everytime I've had a photo session with Kelly, I come away feeling more beautiful and confident than I've ever felt before! She really takes the time to make these sessions as fun and celebratory as possible. I could tell she was an artist from the moment the session started, because her eye for capturing special moments is undeniable. Kelly took my college graduation photos with me and my family. She was so patient with my little ones and was able to catch a real image of my husband smiling! (A rarity.) We will be hiring her again to do family portraits. I love her hand written notes that she includes as a personal touch. She sent a polaroid with a thank you note that I have hanging on my desk. All my officemates love it! I highly recommend her!!!
