The programs at the Taekwondo Center for Excellence are designed to equip children to excel at academic and athletic goals. Starting as young as three and continuing through college and beyond, our students succeed. Building confidence, by overcoming increasingly difficult obstacles, TCE students learn strategies for success that last a lifetime.
Through training in the Korean martial art, Taekwondo, students learn to concentrate on the task at hand, to push through difficult situations, to think of others first, and many other core values. Our martial arts school is a fun and safe environment for students of all ages.

Services
In May of 2003, Master Craig Metzger started the Taekwondo Center for Excellence, in the Eastlake area of Palm Harbor, Florida. He feels honored to have the support of so many amazing families in the Eastlake community. In August of 2011, the school moved into our current location, in Ridgemoor Commons.
LUNCHES and SNACK: please pack a lunch with snacks every day, except Friday. Pizza is provided on Friday, so only snacks are needed. In an effort to provide a healthy environment, I'm requesting that no soda, or candy be included when preparing lunches. Also, please try to exclude or limit processed food and refined sugar products.
During your children's training in Taekwondo, they will go through phases with increasing difficulty and challenges. Each phase is represented by a colored belt. Our classes are held with all belt levels training together, but specific attention is paid to help advance children from their current belt to the next.

Master Craig and the team at Taekwondo Center for Excellence have been instructing and supporting my son for the past 7 years. The instruction he receives here goes way beyond "martial arts."
It has helped him temper his mood. He used to be very emotional and reactionary, but now he is much more in control.
The instructions have also helped him with discipline and respect.
Master Craig has a pretty good handle for kids, impressing them to respect but without the element of fear at all.
I am very thankful to TCE and Master Craig for all of his help!

Master Craig is the child whisperer! He is our savior and has helped to shape our son into the person he wants to be. He went from being unpredictable and disrespectful to focused and caring. I love love love this place and recommend it to anyone who asks!!! Here it is about way more than just Taekwondo skills, it's about the overall health of your child!
